Today I was finally able to spend some quality time with my Anduril flashlights, got them all updated to 2024-04-20 (latest firmware version from @Toykeeper) plus my particular configurations and mods, and then took this family picture:
Left to right (which coincidentally is also more or less the reverse order I acquired them):
-
FireFlyLight T9R w/ SBT90.2 LED, got it a few days ago from FFL’s “last batch”(?) sale for $74(!), still getting to know it (light saber!);
-
Wurkkos FC13 SFT40 6500K, my EDC backup light and main emergency powerbank;
-
Wurkkos FC13 XHP50B 5000K, bought it during “last batch” sale, and stored it to use if/when #2 above bites the dust (can’t live without an FC13);
-
Wurkkos HD10 6000K Hi CRI, won from Wurkkos’ GAW (thanks again @Wurkkos_Terry!), currently my only Anduril-equipped headlamp; also, my only non-black flashlight besides the TiTS10 below; it’s currently my go-to light for all outdoors close-range activity, sits right by the door ready to be grabbed and used;
-
Hank Emisar D3AA w/ 519a 5700 Dedomed, great light but not without its problems (the main one being its horrible preflash);
-
Wurkkos TS10 Titanium (aka TiTS10) 4000K CSP “Special Edition”, engraved from factory with my monogram and avatar; great looking but not so nice performing (bad tint on the LEDs, which I will fix any day now that I got an SW45 MCPCB from @Zwerglein02 – thanks again Lucas – and some battery-length intolerance);
-
Wurkkos TS10v2 4000K CSP LEDs, bought earlier this year and stored as a parts-donor for my venerable TS10v1 (see below) when its switch started misbehaving;
-
Wurkkos TS10v1 4000K CSP LEDs, my main EDC, preferred and most-used light, upgraded with Wurkkos “extended” (muuuuch better than the original) clip; was my first Anduril light, bought at launch in mid 2022); scuffed and scratched from too many falls and riding in my beltpouch and pocket, sometimes along with keys etc, but still looking great after over 2 years.
Not many lights besides these 8, all non-Anduril; and the only ones I use with some regularity are my Lumintop Tool2.0 UV, and my Nitecore TM20K.
I don’t think I need many more lights after those 8 – perhaps a triple-wavelenght Anduril-if-possible UV light to replace the Lumintop, and an Anduril-of-course Sofirn Q8Plus to replace the Nitecore. Then my collection will be complete.
Shout-out to @Wurkkos: you are the only manufacturer I have more than one light from, and presently your lights are exactly 3/4 of my collection. The reason is simple: your Anduril lights rock, both features- and price-wise! Please never stop making them, and always with AT1616 or AVR32DD20 MCUs and easily accessible flashing pads of course!
