There is something I absolutely hate about this light that I have yet to read in a review. There is no grease on the threads. It makes high pitched squeaks and metal to metal noise for the full 1 1/4 turn to on or off. The lack of grease (and it “feels” like lack of o-ring) make the head twist too freely. As in it’s very loose unless tightened all the way in either direction. Both issues could be easily fixed with a dab of grease if I could figure out a way to get the head off without damaging the it. The bezel seems to be glued on. I cant get it to budge.

Yeah, mine squeaks a bit but not too bad. This thing though is just about impossible to operate one handed unlike the Olight i3E EOS which is smooth as silk even one handed.

By the way, I bit the bullet and tried a 10440 cell in it and it works great and now puts out an amazing amount of light!
