We need a BLF version of this keychain light
yeah with 10000 lumens, 10 hrs run time, anduril 2.0, red, green, blue and UV leds, zoom, and stun mode!
for $24
How would you like this light to be?
Edit: Stay reasonable
i;d be happy if it was the same light as it is now, just with anduril UI
maybe a warmer tint
the UI it has now is pretty 2011
wle
did I said that?
Again, I asked ramping and sublumen for both Leds, warm high Cri and deep Red. Double switch would be better. No really need Anduril on keychain light
Maybe new LEDs and even a lower low could be done without redoing everything. Since the MINIX actually had a warm welcome on BLF, someone could ask for interest. If enough people participate, maybe there could be a small edition, if technically possible?

—ok for youNo really need Anduril on keychain light
==well i would want it
Start from 0,1 lm or below for each Leds would be nice. Since the body is sealed and no mod friendly Led should be very warm.
Begin to be common Leds PC deep Red, wider band than narrower 660nm

Ask them a customized version for $240 :person_facepalming:

Yes.
But Trustfire is able to made upgrade of this light or you mean to ask others like Wurkkos/Sofirn, Astrolux for”redoing” UI and Leds?
Guess this way will require longer time
and maybe $
My main complaint with the TrustFire MiniX is that the area that attaches to my keyring is made of plastic that breaks pretty easily.
Replace that plastic with durable metal, and I would actually be interested.

Have you actually cracked or worn through that plastic loop?
I machined mine off to make it flat but while doing so it seems like polypropylene or a similar soft strong plastic. In many other applications including a lot of more extreme flexing with thin PP plate at temps from 20F to 100F it doesn’t want to crack even after fairly significant UV exposure. It may not be PP but just that brief bit of working it suggests that it’s probably very similar in properties. I wasn’t crazy about the plastic end cap on this one either when I first received it but I already knew I wanted to make it flat.

Have you actually cracked or worn through that plastic loop?
Yes, the flashlight was on my keychain for less than a year, and the plastic loop just self-destructed.
In other words, the plastic loop was used but not abused, and it still broke.

simple solution: attach a string loop to the plastic loop, then attach the string loop to the key chain

That solution doesn't work for me.
String is not as durable as metal.
String will break way before something like reasonably thick stainless steel.

well
but steel is going to break the plastic…
maybe try 3-4 loops of fishing line
you need flex+strength

I'm saying ditch the plastic and replace it with strong metal like stainless steel.
Until that happens, I will not be getting another MiniX.
have you looked at cyansky m1r?
same basic design
i forget how they do their loop
prob same thing
oh waht maybe it is better
i think the minix body is extruded - so they prob can;t make it can-shaped without it costing $10 more
wle
The Cyansky M1R looks great, but I don't want any accidental UV light.
A flashlight has to either have UV light and nothing else, or else have no UV light.
