UF t20 W/xp-e2 green

Driver is a q-lite 1.9a (3.04 - 3 7135’s). It’s currently mounted on my ar-15 for hog hunting. It works pretty good but I’d like to get more out of it. From what I’ve read 1.9a is about all this emitter will take. Any suggestions?

Hog hunting= red , m8
I have a similar setup for my rifles, yet its with a 2.1amp driven red xpe2, it gives 70k mcds and like 250m pure visibility

Even better is amber, it cuts the fog like a butter

I’ll have to give red a try. I like the green but I need to get a bit more out of it. I can see a lot more black piggies on black dirt with green than any of my white lights.

I don’t know anything about hog hunting, but if you want more out of your green light you really can drive it harder. I’ve got a 530nm green XP-E2 in an S2+ host with a full 3 amps, all 8 7135s on board. Works fine. Djozz has a ‘crash test’ of those emitters if you want to see some numbers.

Huh. Really? I’ve been setting 2.1amp max. I may try 2.4…

On some of the green xpe2s I have tried to push harder, the vf was limiting me. I could never make it to 3 amps with a single pana cell

YMMV

emarkd, that’s what I wanted to hear.
