I’ve been looking around to see how hot the typical pill of this size might get, there’s a surprising lack of data, just like there’s not much info on how high these two adhesives can go. Anyone done any temperature readings?
I made a dedicated copper led board for a LuxeonZ led, one of the pieces was glued in with Arctic Alumina Adhesive. After that I reflowed a led on it, the board must have been near 250degC for half a minute. The adhesive survived that.
