Did anyone know that the ULTRAFIRE XML-T6 draws1.6 amps from the 18650 battery when on high power…setting no wonder it gets hot in use……jim

Where can i see the 3 amp version

1.6 amps? Below 2.5 amps is pretty low. 3 amps or more is where the heat is generated. If yours is getting hot at low current, that probably means high resistance somewhere. You can grab a Convoy or XINTD light from Banggood and they are 2.8 to 3 amp regulated. And with direct-drive, you can spike over 3 amps.
