I had a problem where they quoted me a price and then wouldn't honor it. They also would not talk to me about the charger so I was worried whether it is a safe charger. (A.k.a does it follow cc/cv)

Oops, I should have read your post more thoroughly. 
I was talking about vb-16, as for archon I'm not sure. CPF has a tendency to delete threads so it is not possible to find out.

Archon/Xeccon stole a design from the OP, who is a known dive light designer.
Oh, he made that design? What exactly happened on CPF, with my limited expierence on CPF they just ignore the rip offs.
I’d love to see more pics, including a rundown of its parts. Looks sharp, I look forward to a full review
The folks who ripped off Javier went on CPF trying to sell his design. Javier stepped in and was thumped by DM51, not knowing who he was. After Javier stood up for himself, DM51 was forced to back down (as much as his ego would let him) and the offenders banned.
