The grease seems to be simple silicon-based grease, the one that is on almost every flashlight to lube the thread.
It was just the quantity and the fact that was almost everywere.
I should have noticed it earlier probably.
I think it was just a little excess, probably accumulated somewhere that melted with the heat.
In the end it’s just a dielectric grease that should not create any problem, it was just preventing a proper contact.
