Upgrade from 18650 Trustfire flames

There are so many brands using good quality cells now, why would you risk your own safety using crap **fire cells?

You’ll find plenty of useful reviews right here on BLF for cells costing around the $10 to $12 range. If your looking to penny pinch on anything cheaper your kidding yourself, in the long run the better cells will save you grief and $$$’s.

Edit: looks like your on the right track, may be a bit expensive but local to you which outweighs the little extra cost.

Still I dont think these Panasonic cells are the best for such light as the King pulling 3A from each cell.

Select "Redilast 3100mAh" and "Redilast 2600mAh". The 3100mAh cell is the same as the one you found on ebay and you can see that the voltage drops earlier.

I would untick everything except for 3A and 5A because those are important for you.

Tailcap draw from several reads for King is around 7.5A, so that's only 7.5/4 = 1.8A /cell. That's a measly 0.6C for 2900mAh Panasonic.

Really? I thought someone measured the King with something about 3-4A per LED..

You can find one Sanyo 2600mha for less than 6$

or in ebay a pair of panasonic 3100mha for less than 18$ shipped, do not buy anything worse than that…

Where can I buy Redilast/Keeppower 2600mah’s for cheap? The best price I’ve seen was $14 each, and it seems like a rip-off to me since the normal unprotected Sanyo 2600mah cells can be bought for less than $6. Is there any other distributor offering a protected version of the Sanyo cell for less than $10?

Another question, is there still a place/source where we can buy genuine Trustfire 3000mah flames with the capacity as reviewed HKJ?

You cant get them cheap, thats the point. ;)

TF3000: Manafont. But I'd stick with HiMax or XTAR.

Here you go sir:

And the Keeppower 2600mah’s? Where do we get them?

I have not bought any of them… Yet…

I havent found Keeppower 2600mAh cells either. The Keeppower seller on ebay wont sell them.

Redilast can be bought from one page, for 14$ a piece, I guess you found it already.

For this price you can buy two sanyo…

BTW Can someone find what is the difference between this two protected?

Button top vs. flat top?

I think so… One of them is a little small, but in the pic dont look like flat top, look like something between flat and top

got any info on those cells?

Meaning: those are good. I'd say about the same as XTAR 2600. Afaik they have Sanyo cells inside, but I cant guarantee.

10,99$ for warranty??? Mmmm

You can buy warranty for almost anything on ebay.. even for stuff that costs less than 1$. So what?^^

thanks for the links. wish i could tell if it were a brand name battery inside. im pretty partial to japan mfg

First time that I see that for a batteries…
