USB 3.1 flash memory drives. What's your preference?

Yup, those are good. Back in the day they were my go to drives for running portable linux OS because of the speed with which they can read/write small files. Most flash drives out there can only achieve max speeds on large files, but they really suck when it comes to small files. Sandisk Extreme was an exception to this.

Yes, it’s 1.5” long, but the metal version has some heft to it, so it actually feels more substantial than it looks. :slight_smile:

By comparison, Sandisk Extreme is about 2.75” long, with the USB port retracted.
