0V activation worked for NiMH and protected 3.7V Li-ion.

0V activation didn’t work for a damaged unprotected 3.7V Li-ion (cell not detected).

0V activation didn’t work for an unprotected 3.7V Li-ion that was sitting at 0V for years.

I think the repair mode should be used on 3.7V Li-ion cells that drop to around 2.5V but it might not work if an unprotected cell has been damaged and is reading 0V.
