Vapcell 14500 1000mah 3A for me,thanks
Thank you very much for your feedback. We are asking some shrinkable film factories if they can produce durable shrinkable tubes.
vapcell Dennis, an example of the newer positive pole protected cells can be seen in the Ultrafire red-black/black-red series. See for example the following reviews @ lygte-info.dk:
The 18350 cell used back then by UltraFire was the original Aspire/Shenzhen Yongde Lixin Energy one.
The protection circuitry in the above batteries could improve, particularly for the smaller 14500 and 16340. Neat looking batteries, though.

Thanks you very much, amzing Ulatrafire battery, do you know where is Ulatrafire factory?
vapcell Dennis:What is the best 10180 battery in the market? How much capacity?
There are very few tests of 10180 capacity so it’s hard to tell really. The best I’ve seen is 74 mAh. I’ve seen claims of someone getting a hold of real 90 or 100 mAh but I don’t fully trust that - and they didn’t tell what were these cells, so they were not verifiable.
vapcell Dennis:10440 batteries, I remember the forum members said that efest 10440 350 MAH was the best, right?
I haven’t seen more than 350 mAh either.
vapcell Dennis:But could you tell me Why 18350,21700 Batteries Can’t Take USB
They can, it’s just rare. So far I’ve seen 1 maker doing this to 21700 and none to 18350.
vapcell Dennis:I noticed some 18650 batteries with PCB. We usually put PCB on the negative poles of batteries, but some flashlight manufacturers’18650 batteries put PCB on the positive poles of batteries.
Do you know the advantages and disadvantages of both?
No, I don’t.
vapcell Dennis:Then could you show me some pictures?
a powerbank feature
- Type C connector on cells that are large enough to fit it (21700?)*
I don’t quite understand.
I know 2 makers of cell-powerbanks.
Folomov and Acebeam.
They look just like regular cells with USB ports. But they come with special dual-headed cables that feature:
- male USB Type A (to charge cell)
- female USB Type A (to use cell as a powerbank)
- Micro USB (this side connects to battery)
Acebeam 21700 (they fake capacity):
Folomov 18650 :
As to USB Type C…I can’t show you pictures of a cell that features one - because AFAIK it doesn’t exist yet.
They are increasingly popular with flashlights and flashlight-powerbanks
(Acebeam T27 flashlight powerbank):
Most new phones come with Type C nowadays. Soon most people will be carrying Type C cables with them, not Micro USB ones. This makes Micro USB cells awkward - but for smaller sizes MicroUSB is the only choice.
Furthermore a cable that has Type C male plug on each side is quite universal as well. No need for a special triple-headed cable like those from Folomov and Acebeam.
Wall chargers with Type C outputs are getting popular. Powerbanks that output Type C as well. It seems to me that Type C will almost completely replace both Type A and Type C in the coming years. And if someone has to charge a Micro USB device from a Type C powerbank - they can always buy a Type-C to MicroUSB converter.
Dear Agro
10180 and 10440 ,The market share is too small, so many big battery companies are not producing them.
It’s all small companies that make these batteries.
Thank you very much for your pictures, we need to learn these, make the product more convenient to use and do a good job, this is what we need to continue to work hard.
Do you have a 18650 batteries?
We may have 10 models of 18650 batteries.
This is our most developed product.

Don’t have any vapcell yet, but I am in for the GAW so I can test the 18350.
i would love to try out the Vapcell 14500 1000mah of the vapcell 18350 1100mah to compliment my keeppowers
Would like to enter the giveaway, and would love to test the 18350 and 14500 batteries
Thanks for the giveaway. I wish for 18350.
I have a few 18650’s from you and would like to try some14500 and 21700 cells.
Thanks
I’ve been curious about your batteries, I’d like to try some 18350’s.
Thanks
Interested in the 14500, thanks!
vapcell Dennis,
Why do some cells like the Original VapCell INR21700 5000mah 15A have the positive electrode of the battery recessed and can only be charged using the LiitoKala charger?
Why aren’t they just a normal flat tops? I can not charge them in my Xtar Dragon VP4 plus. Also the case with LG M50 21700’s.
Button tops, flat tops, now recessed tops? :person_facepalming: :weary:
Barkuti is right, We can make battery pack for these batteries. The battery button top are still under study and are expected to be released soon.
Nite Shadow:vapcell Dennis,

Thanks! :+1: Even just a flat button top that is flush or just a bit higher would be excellent. Really want to add these batteries to my arsenal!
Thanks for the giveaway!
I am interested in 18350.
NO vapcell in my lights yet.
I have a few 18650’s from you and would like to try some14500 and 21700 cells.
Thanks
Thanks Chris
In case you are wondering Nite Shadow, Tesla had the idea of using an aluminum cell top in their 5Ah NCR21700. This is what is causing trouble, there's no affordable industrial process (yet) to easily attach a button top or any other sort of shim to it.
I myself have tried low temperature soldering onto aluminum with very little success and this is even using very nasty soldering fluxes. Spot welding the aluminum positive pole in the NCR21700 is a big hurdle right now, Tesla did this for reasons bear no doubt.
Cheers ^:)
I’ve got a gold 21700 in my Fireflies, works awesome, 14500’s would be great to win

Thanks, Barkuti! Much clearer story now. I just wonder why LG M50 21700 are like that too. Was worried this was a new trend and would need to get separate charger And I only like ones that charge properly per HJK.
Just don’t have room for another charger like my XTAR Dragon. I have several FF PL-47’s with Nichia 219 B’s and do not want to fry them so was looking for short 21700’s with 7-10 A continuous rating.
Thanks for the giveaway!
If I win, I’ll choose the 18350 cells !
