Wallbuys

Did you try to request RMA?

Just contact Wallbuys. I have only had one problem order and they fixed the problem with no hassle what so ever.

I have a SL3 coming from WB. I hope I don’t get any of this BS. Let us know how they handle this.

Yes i have email`d them about this it will cost me £17.90 royal mail p&p its hard for us in the uk to sent back things to china it costs a fortune i`v opened a clain with paypal but i will never buy from them in the future

Paul

Make reasonable and polite efforts to communicate with WB and document everything with photos. Open a claim with PayPal if you haven't already. If WB does not resolve the problem at their cost, include all of the email and photos in your claim with Paypal. Sometimes just starting a claim is enough to encourage WB to be more co-operative. If WB does not provide satisfaction, and you've made good faith efforts to resolve it with them, PayPal will be more likely to decide in your favour.

Edit: WB and most other vendors use the return shipping cost as a weapon to avoid dealing with problems. Tell them if they want the defective product back they will have to pay the shipping costs - it's up to them - you don't care. Your weapon is PayPal: Tell them you want a refund, a discount big enough to satisfy you, or a replacement product, and you are prepared to open a PayPal claim if they don't agree.

They’re making you pay the return shipping?

Seems unfair, according to post 757 from here: Wallbuys.com [AVOID]

I’m also working on a RMA on a defective light, and it has been slightly hard to persuade them that it’s broken.

One caveat with PP is that even if they do rule on the customer’s behalf, they will make you return the item, but you will need to cover the return shipping.

I like to thank you all for your help

Paul

It depends on the situation. If there is visible damage or you can prove the product is not what you ordered they won't make you return it. It seems to depend a lot on whether "you just don't like what you bought" or whether the vendor sent defective or incorrect product. My partner ordered some solid sterling silver jewelry from India. The vendor sent silver plated jewelry and she could tell the difference.

I guess you guys had some more luck than I did.

I had a defective light from Manafont but PP required me to return the defective product.

Sent them an email.
Use short sentences.
After each sentence, period and new line.

That’s the way I have found works best as they are really bad in understanding what you write…

Good point. I have often thought the same.

Do you suppose they don’t understand the word “refund”?

wallbuys: how may i help you today sir?

werner: this is not what i wanted! i want a refund!

wallbuys: 没有讲英语,不明白

If the driver is bunk you can ask them for a replacement. But they might do like they did with me and send you one that doesn’t fit.

Really that’s wallbuys for you. They have great prices, fast shipping and terrible customer service. Oh well two out of three ain’t all bad. Just fight with them threaten them get really nasty call it fraud, escalate your paypal from claim to dispute and then ask for a huge store credit. They will offer something bunk (like a five cent VIPKill code, really that was an offer they made me), don’t accept it, fight with them some more. Threaten them some more and eventually they will give in and do what you want. Then they will tell you they love you and hope to do more business with you soon.

I was told this a long time ago when I first started buying in bulk from China. Always remember that all is fair in Business and War and that to them Business is War. There is nothing dishonorable to them if they win only losing and not being able to support themselves or their family is dishonorable. They will also not take it personally if you fight with them and be ruthless. In fact they respect that more than you think.

I know it’s rather distasteful for a lot of people to fight like this over a flashlight, but either play the game or buy from someone with more Western Idea’s of how to do business. Fast Tech would be my suggestion.

Good luck and go get em.

thank you it`s in the hands of paypal

Do you suppose they don’t understand the word “refund”?

LOL!

Back your paypal with a visa card and when paypal says you have to send the item back ... you call visa and let them cance; payment and let the big guns of visa play hard ball with paypal.

these companies hope you'll quit and go away tell them you will not and prove it to them .be nice and persistant and then go to dispute if the blow you off ...they have the money to refund you from ME when they screwed me :P

Assume about 8% losses when buying from china .just factor it into the price and you'll be fine ..Assume you're going to take pics and a video every time you have a problem and lastly don't sweat it because that's how they win ...you quit and go away mad .. nice business model huh ?
