We are sorry for the mistake we made [Aurabuy]

+1

I do not want free lights (did I just say that?), deep discounts, or special treatment as forgiveness brownie points. I want a reliable seller that has good quality products and consistently delivers at reasonable prices. Simple concept; not many seller deliver it. One more would be awesome.

We see that actions speak louder than words.

I think what we can act now is that to send the spam accounts to Admin and let him delete them.

Furthermore, it need time to prove it, but we are sincerely for the apology and we guarantee that it will not happen again.

And quite honestly…those of you relentlessly asking for deep discounts look like a bunch of flashlight floozies (I thought lumen whores would be a little too harsh)

Others might want you to give bigger discount. For me, just give us more variety of flashlights, good price and good service in future will do. It is very competitive nowadays. You need to know what is hot in the market and quickly pull them into to your stock and start selling at good price.

**btw. what the heck is a “kpi” goal? and how is that calculated? why doesn’t management know the methods used by the employees to reach that goal?
.
I hope they got at least a slap on the wrist for ruining the best publicity your business had. lol.
.
jk. I’m sure it’ll blow over in a year or two.

.

the explanation does sound a bit dubious, as others have said, but everyone deserves a second chance, right? i think we should give them that chance, especially since some have had good experiences.

If we take it really seriously, Ric did deceive either with BTU’s AR lens. But he fixed it later with real AR lens. Not intend to start another BTU vs XXX war but that is one good example. If a seller willing to fix the problem he created, then we should give him another chance. So I think no one should stand on moral high ground if someone admitted their mistake and trying to fix the problem.

I am not victimized by Aurabuy. Maybe that is why it is easier for me to forgive Kevin. But I am victimized by some sellers on Ebay taking me months to get back my fund, I do know the agony dealing with deceptive sellers.

i was once been dealing with a seller from aliexpress when trying to buy laser module and the spec isn’t as described

If that is the case, then I am victimized by aliexpress seller either.
Actually those spec are set by manufacturer, and the seller just state what is stated in specification. Seller seldom measure it for us except really good sellers who invest time and effort to test their stock.

for a seller knowing what product they sell is a must.

I agree with you. That is why we should buy from seller who really measure and test their stock, for example battery capacity, lumens, etc.

so far i was satisfied dealing with fasttech because they were honest and listen to their costumer not many seller do that today.

As Chloe already suspected somewhere above in this thread, the security software is indeed Sophos, and that it may be too sensitive. But I can't ask the network guys to change their software, so I suppose I will have to live with the annoying Aurabuy warnings .

We’ll see… I’ve heard this spiel before.

nice word, informal. had to look it up, false friend since it does not mean 'game play (dtsch. Spiel)' but

Kevin did send me a LONG list of shill accounts that his employees created. So I appreciate his honest admission. And I sincerely hope they don’t do this again.

KPI = key performance indicators

I’d like to know the precise motivation too.

Huh, funny, I thought “spiel” was an English-ized form of a native German word. Don’t know why I thought that, it just always sounded German to me.

I thought that too, Sb.

I’ve never seen it typed out before, but it’s a known word around here. I use it myself actually. I always thought it was a Jewish-derived word. I normally hear it pronounced “sch-peel”.
