Perła Honey b33r.
Amazingly, my usual b33r place which carries almost anything never had it, and I found it in my local Key Food (as in a regular hole-in-the-wall supermarket).
(Odd, the pic shows in a separate window but not in the post preview. Ymmv.)

(Hmm, tinyurling it “fixed” it.)

Crown, “the Royale”, is a really smooth blended Canadian whisky, no bite at all such as cheap bourbon and firewater whiskeys.
That and hockey are some of the greatest contributions to life from our friends to the North, just as Tequila and powerful night-time AM radio stations from our friends to the South
How many purple bags do you need, the large ones or small 50ml nippers?
The XO and XR are overpriced in my opinion, there is not enough difference to justify the price. The Black has a bit of a bite. They might have a gold or black bag i can’t remember. They have apple and vanilla and all kinds of other fruity-added stuff—guess it’s a gimmick to me, but they all make good for a nip.
Ironically, I got the idea after watching “The Closer” ep, “Overkill”, where one guy mentioned they’re good to keep his gun in, “Supple, helps keep it dry.”. And that same ep was on just last night!
But reading about them, they’re good for anything delicate, being that they’re soft and have a nice drawstring. And if it means buying a bottle of b00ze in the process, eh, okay.
For lights, meters, etc., they should make good storage bags.
Anyhoo, with all the flavored bourbons and the like (honey, cinnamon, etc.), they’re probably good for nipping on. Anything that has a good pungent flavor for a few nips, but where “too much” would be just too much.
(Oh, how I miss that orange-flavored Cuervo…)

i’m a big fan of orange-flavored anything—but i just can’t beat the fun of drinking a fifth of grand marnier every night in Paris @ $5 a bottle…dirt cheap there, $50 here.

Drinking “well bourbon” aka Ten High in my Diet Pepsi. Keeping it classy this evening as my 80lb pitbull sleeps across me legs, preventing movement
my pit is only 60lbs so far.
he is on the “guest” bed asleep.
i am drinking Sweet Tea.
real tea real sugar real ice.
Ach… took a while to goggle it, as I had zero immediate recollection of its name. Something frenchy-sounding, but that’s it.
Yummy-nummy without being cloying.
Careful, though, to thoroughly wipe down the cap and neck of the bottle, else you’ll need a strap-wrench to open that f’er later when it dries and is sugar-glued together.
You could kill off a whole fifth of GM per night?
I’d probably be projectile-vomiting if I even tried that…

They’re all stuck in the middle with you!
Mmm, their honey-b00ze is pretty good.
’Though the name sounds more like a company that makes windows, or cookware.

Calvados- once the poor man’s brandy now ridiculously expensive but ‘Henry De Querville’ is not too pricy. Best substitute ‘Somerset Royal Cider Brandy’, sublime.

Lactose and fat reduced milk. Sometimes with instant coffee.
I finally choked down the last of a 5lb bag of “italian dark roast”. Too Starbucky. And the damned oiliness of the beans clogged the crap outta my grinder.
My new batch (“brazilian santos”) won’t be here for a few more days, so bought a small bag o’ 8:00 coffee to tide me over ’til then.

I know what you mean. I still have 4.9 lbs of it. Clogged up my auto grinder too!
Just can’t bring myself to throw it out though. Just keep moving it from one shelf to another.
If you really want to treat yourself… 100% Kona beans. Smith Farms Kona, HI
Not cheap, but dam good.
Anyway, what am I drinking today? Eggnog float! 2 scoops eggnog ice cream, 2 shots Captain Morgan
I love the Xmas season.

I suspect this is mainly a local thing, but if you can find this at your local grocery store, it’s actually pretty good and not far away from its “roasted on” date. Not worth it though if you have to order it on-line through their website and pay shipping. It’s under $10 locally. It’s a blend of 70% Brazil Cerrado and 30% Costa Rica Montañas del Diamante.
Bueller likes it…

I use the grinder built into my Breville espresso machine. It actually does a better job at fine grinding than my old Capresso burr grinder. I only pull the Capresso one out if I need a really coarse grind.

My grinder is part of my DeLonghi espresso machine. Wet beans clog up the shoot and it’s a PIA to clean them out.
I normally us Lavazza.
Oh, I ain’t throwing out even “bad” coffee. If it’s got caffeine, I’m okay with it.
I got a bag of Kona beans somewhere, but fiik how old they are, as I forgot about ’em for a while.
If I find ’em, I’ll try at least 1 batch to see. If they’re actually bad (moldy, have a stank to ’em, etc.), then I’ll toss ’em, but if not…
