I “splurged” today. Entennmann’s cheese-danishes on sale.
Still yearning for some cheezy-poofs, but…
Unsalted Deluxe Mixed Nuts from Aldis and some sharp cheddar cheese cubes.
Reeeeeeeeeeally good bagels from the shop a few blocks away, with butter, but that was in the ayem.
Just et some stir-fry broccoli… damn, that stuff’s growing on me.
Soy/oyster/teroyaki sauces, sugar/honey, starch, water. Decided to sizzle ’em in sesame oil first, vs adding it at the end. 2 birds…

Got red-potato frenchfries in the oven, about 2-3min from coming out.
The smell’s driving me crazy, as I’m starving…
Was hungry, didn’t want anything “heavy”, so grabbed a small broccoli, warshed it, trimmed it, snipped it, etc.
Cut each sprig into a long skinny piece, then gave ‘em all a quick sear in a teenytiny bit of oil, then a blop of butter, and a bit o’ lemon-juice. Well, more than a just a little (opps), so “cut” it with a teenytiny bit of sugar.
Finished with a hint of cracked pepper, and had me a nice light quick snack with easy cleanup.
Coupla eggwiches.
Flat/bottom parts of a English muffin (yesterday’s had Eggos), drizzle a little maple syrup, slice o’ Murrrrcan cheese (thick-sliced), sausage patty, fresh-cracked black pepper, scrambled eggs, topped with the round/top part of the muffins.
It’s gooooooooooooood eatin’.

A bowl of Blue Bell Vanilla ice cream with some Hershey’s Syrup drizzled on top. Goes great after mowing the lawn.
Sis regretted getting gummibears from Nuts.com, so I altruistically took them off her hands.
Hownahell you eat those things? Chew and swallow? Like 90% of them goes untasted, then. Suck on ’em ’til they dissolve? Frustrating.

Anyhoo, made more of the lemon-pepper-butter broccoli. Damn, that’s good stuff. 2 out of 3 crowns down, 1 to go. Was tempted to make another batch right then’n’there.
Are the gummi bears different than other gummi candy?
I just chew for quite a while and then swallow.
Honestly, I haven’t had gummibears since, well, maybe never. I was always a chocoholic, and loved me my chocohol.
These are like congealed Jell-O, soft and squishy and rubbery, but do break/split apart if you chew too much.
Hmmm. Dunno, ain’t got anything to compare them with. Maybe Chuckles, but minus the graminated sugar coating, but… nope, can’t even say that, as those’re a different texture.
