What are you snacking on now?

they tried to capitalize on the cad and got buried.

I’m snacking on some Matzah crackers. Well, it’s more of a sheet, but yeah. Plain, boring, unseasoned matzah crackers. It’s strangely comforting to me for some reason.

I like the onion ones with butter.

hm…have you tried them with scoops of honey and ground mustard seed?

Ew. That sounds ugly.

I might go as far as pb&j on it, though. Think I have, actually.

They only come out like once per year. Same like eggnog.

I read this yesterday. Crickets. Woooosh. After sleeping… LOL :joy:

There’s always one in every group…

Hardboiled some eggs for eggsalad, every one just had the shell slide right off like nothing… except one. Damned thing seemed glued on, pulled off chunks of eggwhite trying to get the shell-shards off.

Screw it. Just put some salt on it and shoved the whole thing in my mouth like I was a snake. That was my snack. A snake-snack.

Not now, but earlier.

What kind of sauce or rub are we going with!?

Regular spg with some adobo, cayenne, dried minced onion and Mexican oregano. Egg bath, then back and forth couple of times in 2 parts flour one part corn starch. Fried at 375. Got a new fryer we did 15 wings, 15 flats and 15 drums, in one drop.

Nothing much better than deep fried wings. When I did them I just fried them naked. I felt I could get plenty of crunch with no batter. AND, less carbs! :winking_face_with_tongue: Then made up a sauce. 4 or more (depending on what I had on hand) sauces with different peppers. A dash of A1 sauce, Salt, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and… wait for it, celery seed. Put them in a big bowl and coated them well.

Mighty fine eating. More recently, I have been air frying them. It is a marginally acceptable alternative. Plus with my air fryer I can only do about 12 pieces.

It is not possible to satisfy my wing eating drive with one batch.

buy one get one free…apple and blueberry.
i like blueberry better.

Simms Garlic Summer Sausage

This is an Aldi brand.
The price is right at 26 cents per ounce, but I’m thinking that Hillshire Farm (at 35 cents per ounce) might be tastier. :man_shrugging:

More like breakfast, cause I hit the stoopermarket as soon as it opened.

Half a hoakie drenched in zesty Italian dressing, with ham, muenster (same texture as provolone without the cat-ass stank to it), and briny roasted red peppers.

Think I gonna have another one in the evening, that was so good.

watching the Live Artemis II feed…

it is really not my favorite, but once a year or so…

Decided to be different…

Chicken franks, cut in half lengthwise, burnt browned on all sides, then glopped with some bbq sauce to coat and caramelise a bit.

Not bad at all.

That’s the way my grandmother used to make them. Thought they were great.
