What batteries for SR-Kung?

I´m currently waiting for getting money back from wrong colored 3-emitter and ordered a 4-emitter Kung.

I have NCR18650B protected button tops but they don´t fit..

Any suggestions of GOOD batts, that fit and where to order hassle-free?

Not absolutely necessary to be protected, will be at my own use only.

Kind of odd, I thought Kung and kings were pretty well identical in the battery compartment? I could have sworn others confirmed the 70mm buttons fit? I know they fit in my SR king.

Well you can use any manner of unprotected batteries, I’d recommend NCR18650B unprotected button top, or flat top and you’ll need to add a button. High quality cell and you’ll get some serious runtime with 4x 3400mAh.

I use simple laptop pulls with brass nuts soldered on the pos end.

They ship through HK-post. Don´t they seize the cells?

Problem solved!
Light arrived and this 4 x Kung suddenly CAN accept protected NCR18650B.
