What blade did you EDC today?

I dusted and grabbed one of my safe queens. No, not the beer!

Which ZT is that weklund? That is a great looking knife! Right up my alley.

I carried my Kershaw Cryo 2 this week. Sometimes I change daily. Other times it’s weekly.

Also. Guess who bought a digital USB microscope this week? Yep. Me! :sunglasses:
To help me do a better job of sharpening my EDC knives.

A couple of the pictures that follow, are of some printing on a U.S. quarter dollar.

Steve,
I can’t see your pics.

Bear Claw made “Shirogorov” Sigma for me:

I was checking in on BLF for a few minutes today, on mobile, and saw your comment isti242. While on mobile, surprisingly, I couldn’t see the pictures then either. Odd. I did see your picture then.

But, if I long pressed on where the pictures are suppose to be. A pop-up would ask me if I wanted to ’save the picture’, ’copy image URL’, ’view image in a new tab’, or ’open image in background tab’. Those worked, and allowed me to see the pics that way.

Then, upon further checking, on mobile. I realized that I was using a privacy browser. Once I switched to the Chrome Browser, the pictures were there in the thread, as usual.

I posted these pictures from a Chrome Machine Desktop. No Windows or Flash was involved. That is part of the reason why, I find this all a bit odd.

Today was a dual-wield day. I normally carry my small Leatherman, but I happened by Harbor Freight before work and figured for $5.99, I needed to know how good their sale pocket knife is.

It claims to be a 8CR13MOV blade, and it feels good. Better if it was spring-assisted, but still not bad.

Some backyard work with my Fallkniven F1 copy:

The Cryo II is one of my faves as well.

I thought I would share a little mod I did on my Recon 1 today.

The powder coating on the clip was wearing off, so I ground it off and acid etched it to give it a SUPER NICE matte titianium look. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome!

Kershaw Dividend Gray 1812GRY!

Spyderco Positron copy:

Nice but the knife should have been free falling so there was no hand if the shot

Could you show me an example how to do that?

Just drop it and have good timing on the shutter button on the camera, maybe use burst shooting.

I am going on a dog / puppy photo shot soon will try to drop shoot my Ganzo.

If you could have caught the knife right in the middle of that rainbow that would have been a really cool shot.

Nah, hold the knife as if you’re cutting through the rainbow… That’d be kewl!

Cool, but be careful about free falling knives especially around puppies.

It’s not free falling but it looks pretty cool! Having fun with my Microtech HALO V clone. :sunglasses:

I always liked the tanto designs, and been a sucker for fine Japanese blades.
No doubt should lady luck smile at me i will be commissioning a fine Japanese blade, if there is a master that can be bothered with what a gaijin wants.

Today I carry my wife’s Pingo. The orange one.
Sorry no pic yet
