Nice. I’ve mostly used those wheels for removing coatings. If you are careful, you can get a satiny finish with them too. I’ve also tried them in ergonomic softening applications, but I tend to stick with dremel-to-paper for that.
BTW, I hate coated blades most of the time but I have a few I like. Some of my favorites are a “black wash” or worn coating. I’ll try to remember to grab an example in the near future.
It is! This knife is notable in scratching my Leek itch. I carried a Leek for years back when I actually carried the same knife every day. Of course, this Trivisa Lynx has good manual action instead of janky assisted action with a manual safety, and the handle is more comfortable too. Aside from the pointy blade, they have 14C28N in common and the high toughness is a help.
Is there such a model called a Z-28? If not Amazon has it listed wrong… Kizer Z-28 Hawaiian Pocket Knife with Clip, Black G10 Handle Folding Knife with N690 Blade for Outdoor, Camping, EDC -V4568N1 Amazon.com
I don’t and I wish it would develop a patina. It just keeps turning more gray. I’ve considered sanding it down and starting over. It wouldn’t need much sanding.
