Yes! But I don’t trust vape batteries to power the laser drivers inside the module.
And with an ultra-shorty S7 I could keep a normal host length with a similar look.
I have 5 more matching modules covering the non-yellow/orange portion of the visible spectrum:
405, 450, 483, 495, 513, 637nm
I’ll be building more 3 modules for the yellow portion soon (560, 571, 591nm), and maybe some 660nm deep red too…
The orange will stay in my dreams for now

I didn’t run it for a long time but it will definitely get warm.
At 100%(10A) a 1000mAh 18350 will last approximately 6minutes.
If you want more run time go with the 5A Buck driver and stick with the 18650 tube and get a 3500mAh 18650 battery.

It’s slightly different, the S6 knurling is horizontal and the S2+ is vertical(or vice versa):

Yeah… I was just vaping for some years and thats why i now the 510 connector ! Plus i never had any problems with flat top batteries on vaping mods, even on full full mechanical tube mod, the Atmomixani Nemesis 30 with 26650 batteries !

Nope. There are already red lights in it. So it was just a matter of reflowing all of the LEDs on the new mcpcb and soldering it in place.
That many LEDs was a PITA!!!

Circling back on the S7 510 mech mod, what if I’m out only with my laser kit needing some wideband lumens?
To make a convenient solution to this problem, I put together a 510 > S2 head adapter.
Now I can use my S2 heads on 510 mech mods.
And put a Nichia 519a 4500k on a temporary S2+ head to be part of the set, still TBD the final host for this one:

I have a few laying around from my P60 days. I got them from Overready years ago. They are made for 6P hosts but fit perfect with a little dremel work.

Looks great! Is it media blasted titanium? Or some type of wash?
I’ve also never seen that clip before. I found someone offering new titanium deep carry clips for the FW3A, and ordered some. Anodization is offered for an upcharge of $5 iirc. Carrywerks is the site.
