What flashlights for wedding favours?

The camo Sipik SK68 clone is nice, if next-mode "memory" doesn't bother you.

I really like the single-mode KD HAIII Buckle V6.

It's not as nice as a Tank007 TK-703, but it's a heckuva lot cheaper. ;)

I ordered 5 in Blue…. because I didn’t know they came in any other color :frowning: …. $18.55 delivered!

I was going to suggest these too.

I wish the silver was available a la carte as well… I think Olive will do nicely… if it is a winner, I will order more of course…

I too like the Hugsby XP1, have about half dozen of them. But now prefer the also highly rec’ed
Super Light for $2.99 w/ AA instead. The only thing I don’t like about it is it’s a twisty.
Much longer run time cheaper to leave in cars or give to kids. Kids took it for a weekend camping
and liked it better than the XP1 which ran out of juice quickly.

if you find a favourite you can ask banggood for best price…

You might check the growing list of AA and AAA lights under $10 here: Under $10, 1x AA/ AAA/ 10440/ 14500 flashlight reference

You will likely be disappointed. Not bright at all, but I doubt anyone expected they would be, but they fail to work often as the bit at the bottom where the ring is is open and I think the ring is the button so to speak. It likes to turn on in your pocket unless you lock it out, which can make the head come off and small batteries float around in your pocket. At least, 2 or the 3 I got were like that.

EDIT: your link is borked but I think thats the light from CNQ?

I like the Smiling Shark SS-5039, even in stock form, because the shape and finish feel good in the hand and look good. The 3W is a joke, but output is OK.

SK-68s would be the usual choice and very good. The cheaper ones tend to have poor tail threads. UltraOKs, from Richard, are consistent quality, but around $5. I like SK-58s better, but they tend to cost more and have a bit less output.

I don’t like the little #3 zoomy, esthetically. They are very practical and cheap though.

I got the OLIVE one in today, looks more silver than green to me, so perhaps they just mislabeled it (It is SILVER). This thing is a tank, big for an AAA light, but not too big. The attachment point at the back is large enough for the biggest keyring, and the twisty action is great. The anodizing is excellent for the price point and the threads were all smooth and came lubricated. The runtime is not that fabulous on an AAA, about 45 minutes or so, but the thing is brighter than my Hugsby XP-1, and has an artifact free beam. It is not dark here yet, so I will try to get some pics later. The reflector is aluminum and the glass is anti reflective coated, freaking amazing at this price. It also runs on the LiFePO4 AAA’s or 10440 LiIon batteries.

I like it for what it is, and think it would make a fine gift for any occasion.

I like the Kaidoman Buckle HAIII, and the Huxsby XP-1, and third choice would be the Super light. It gives a lot of light, and the price might be best to buy 50 - 100.

Congratulations to getting married!!

The SK68 is too rubbish-like for anyone's wedding imho.

Nitecore CUBE in blister packaging would be nice or a SS AAA keychain light. Get in contact with a dealer, you'll get a huge discount on 100pcs.

Kaidoman Buckle !!

I own several the silver is my favorite !!

Forgot to add that the code BLF gets you 5% off on flashlights and stuff at Kaidomain. Works with the bulk prices too

So Kaidomain is out of black KD HAIII Buckle lights, I am guessing you placed an order? If not, the other colors are available….

I had to Google search what “faff” was.

British slang, the third language after British English and American English.

I’d vote for a single-mode Sipik SK68 clone… single AA. No need to get too fancy. Some guests will already be weirded out by receiving a “torch” as a wedding favor anyhow.

What about the BLF 348?

A bit over your price at around $8, but comes in a neat little box, it’s stainless steel, has a pocket clip and keyring hole if you buy the right option, nice tint, lovely rear switch…

The singfire version is about $2-3 but has a cold bluish tint, not bad if you aren’t too fussy about that, and no box.

Both tiny single aaa lights with about 80 lumens output, more with a 10440 but that’s not relevant in this case.

Wait, this is a 2 year old thread - how did it get resurrected? It was only relevant 2 years ago!

A filthy spammer (who will not be named) bumped this thread.

i second the BLF 348 or the Singfire 348, very tiny, impressively bright, very small, simple…

i also like the Photon X, been around 10+ years, may have a newer version, runs on 2 2032 cells, many useful modes including brightness ramping, last level memory

Guys, dangerboy has been wearing the ball and chain for over 2 years now. This is a dead thread revived by spam account necromancy.
