What is the difference between ( XM-L2 U2 1C and XM-L2 U2 1D )

Hi all

i am modding a 3c mag to triple Xm-l2 so i wanted to use a not cooler than 6100-6500K emitter as this XM-L2 U2 1C but it is out of stock at intl-outdoor and i have found this XM-L2 U2 1D available so what is the difference between The C & D as both of them are 6100-6500K and same lumens output

Very little…

Based off of the tint table, C is a fraction greener and D is a fraction redder but in real life there is hardly anything between them…

See below:

1C tint is on the right…

1D tint is second in from the left…

OH i have never dreamed with such a good answer like you did thank you

Here is the link for the full resolution ANSI White chart LSX mentions in his nicely answered post, there you can see the tint designations a little bit better.

LSX what emitter is the 3rd beam from the left in the the second pic

It is a 3D tint.

I should have mentioned in my first post that they are not my own pictures. I just knew I had seen them around here a few times so went and found them again for you. The original thread is HERE
