I am not sure where you buy them from. I played around with a white one at a CPF meet. The model I played around with had a RGB + white color scheme. Red for night vision preservation, blue for blood tracking, green for whatever that color is used for. I dont think it featured UV, but my memory could be off. It had a multi-mode dimmer type UI, and IIRC you could get the LEDs to sequentially dance around… I think. I am not sure on that last one, my memory could be fading. It also had a very strange way to separate itself and re-load batteries.
Hehe, i actually got the pig light from dx a few months ago, still works fine, perfect amount light if you don’t want to wake someone up. Only annoying thing is the button is hard to press, and it’s a momentary on only…
but, for the 78 cents i got it, it’s the best light i’ve ever gotten for the money.
If you just have to have this light, I found another version, a little cheaper at $13.10.

Actually, I don’t mind that one so much lol. Kinda reminds me of a very disappointing multi LED one I got from SuperCheap Auto for $4, similar shape without the warts. I wonder if the light engine could be swapped out of this one into the other?
