Fun light. How’s the switch on yours? I’m having some issues with it on my sample.

Switch works good and has very soft click.
It is same like switches on my convoys T2, T3, T4.
Maybe your switch has some defect.

I start my day with 660nm Red, aimed at my closed eyes for a few seconds to help wake up the mitochondria in my retinas.

After that the D3AA takes care of my EDC needs, and also serves as my nightstand light.

My old and heavy used LedLenser P5
I got it before 5-6 years from my friend which works in mine on maintenance of techniques and they use this flashlights as official tool.
It was broken but I repair it.
Driver was blocked and when I put voltage direct on led to test it, driver start to works again

The best thing to do with almost every Olight is swap emitters

I wonder if we could steer the olight market towards high CRI as a standard…like if all of blf boycotts them and ONLY buys their high cri models. They seem to have no problem caving to what people want, but for some reason won’t acquisced to high cri…

Convoy T7, I have received it yesterday.

Great idea! But, I think it would take a lot more than the BLF community. They have too many people who know didn’t even know what CRI is that love their products.

When I visited the Vegas store back in October, the store employees knew the products and everything about the lights they were selling. But they had no idea about CRI. So I gave them a quick lesson with a Baton 4 and the D3AA with FFL’s I had in my pocket.

That’ll be a tough uphill battle, lol…we’ll have to convince their vendors and not them directly, it seems…

Olight did make a High CRI mini
they chose an LED with terrible tint

there are opposing forces at play
Olight and most flashlight marketing promotes High Output claims to attract buyers.

it does not help Olight if they choose a High CRI LED and then have to use a Lower Output claim.

its just not worth their time to educate consumers beyond Lumens criteria

High CRI is an afficionado niche.

FourSevens pays Olight to build SpecialFactoryOrders (SFO) with High CRI LEDs.

Similar LED selection priority differences exist between Sofirn, that mainly produces Low CRI offerings.

While Wurkkos contracts with Sofirn factory to build High CRI lights, for the afficionado market.

Hanklight also have made themselves a prominent provider to the afficionado market. By offering a very large selection of High CRI LED options… in addition to Anduril UI.

Today Im carrying one of my favorite lights, from Hank (again):
