I see you went with Postimage.org. They’re a good site, in my experience. I switched to them when Photobucket made that tragic mistake of suddenly forcing everyone onto the paid model and breaking all the links/embedding.
There was just one moment when Postimage.org had a bit of a scandal, in that the “.org” TLD wouldn’t work for image linking any more. They had to switch to “.cc”. That broke a lot of images. It was a major pain… but they eventually got it all worked out. That was over a year ago. It has been working great ever since and should continue to do so.
What’s great about PostImage.org is that it’s very easy to use, and light weight. Fast uploads. There’s also some great post upload link assistance. You can get links fashioned in a variety of ways, such as with thumbnails. Yes, they automatically create a thumbnail version of each image. That helps reduce bandwidth consumption when providing many images in a post.
Imgur.com is good, but more suited to social media. The interface has gotten better. They also have nice integration with Reddit. I also use this for image hosting, but mostly when posting on Reddit.

Very clever on the stacking. Some of those look like single unit flashlights that take a dozen batteries.
Sure, google could kill photos any time, but if you actually think imgur is more financially viable than google, and more likely to let you get your data out before they shut down, well, have fun, I guess.
Actually, it’s easier than you think. Once you’ve made an account and you’re logged in, you have to click on the “+ New Post” button on the upper left. Once you do that, you’ve got the chance to drag the image to the window or click on a button to browse for it. You can organize your images by galleries. However, you can’t nest them, which is the same limitation on PostImage.org.
Another thing is that images you post on Imgur can be private or shared with community. When private, you can embed and share them with people you know by giving them the link, but nobody can find it by browsing.
I’m using imgur since about 7 years without an account and pictures are still visible but with other image hosts I was using, pictures were removed after a few years.
I was making online tutorials with tons of pictures and it was a pain to retrieve “old” stuff on my hard drives 2 years later.
I’d like to add; copy the post link and when pasting with the forum editor, add the extension <.jpg>.
I usually limit the size to ~ 60 % for phone photos of 12 Mpx and ~ 80 % from Google photos.
I use TinyPic because it is free, easy to use, & the first one I learned about. Of course I don’t post a lot of pictures & don’t really care about saving them anywhere except my USB drive.
I’ve used Flickr with a lot of success over the years, but since their most recent upgrade some of my older pics don’t show up anymore. Very frustrating!
PostImages.org. Terrific site. At least so far… They did have a “hiccup” at one point a few years ago, where some domain name registration fiasco forced them to change all image URL’s from postimg.org to postimg.cc… and that broke so many links. They haven’t had any problems since. Nice features for URL generation too. Only drawback is that they don’t allow folder trees. So albums cannot be sub albums.
