I have some cheap HID lights and they are rated at 6500k intensity on my car. Anyways I like to warn you guys if you drive on a road with yellow or almost no lines (new blacktop) and in a cheap town with little or no lighting… during storms and dark nights you can almost see nothing on the road cuz of the white bright led lights have nothing to bounce back on. I think flashlights should be the same. These neutral and cool white are pretty cool, but once you are in a pitch black area, say dirty river or rocky industrial trail and there is little other colors beside black there is very little vision cuz it barely bounces off things. that’s just one one of my peevs. IMO tint should solve this even yellower or bluer tint might help.
You might want to review my Underground thread with tons of beamshots. One neutral white XP-G and the rest cool white. You can't get any darker or colorless than being in an underground mine!
