What you got today

Mizjif, you aren’t going to tell us what the knife is and where to get one? It looks lovely.

+1

Looks something like a Rippy I love …

I received today, not flashlight related, two 15” Sundown Zv4 D2’s

You’ll have to settle for manufacturer pics because they are too heavy for me to carry in :frowning:

Got em all drawn up in CAD in prep for car install, it’s gonna be tighter than a Nun on Sunday!

I got Norovirus :Sp

A variant of the SK73 type, cheap on Ebay. “CREE XM-L T6 LED Flashlight 1600LM Torch Adjustable Focus Zoom Light Lamp D9” from CREE XM-L T6 LED Flashlight 1600LM Torch Adjustable Focus Zoom Light Lamp D9 | eBay . It says UltraFire on it, but that brand name is not mentioned in the description, its having so little meaning.
It is a little longer than the 73 and other clones I have had of this type with more fins. The fins are square, which is not the best shape for cooling but gives a firm grip for one handed zooming. The modes are all lower than on the 73, especially the middle and low ones.
Next mode memory :frowning:

Sorry, I was in a bit of a rush while posting

It is this one:

$16.99! Gorgeous knife for the money!

As mentioned here:

I believe I ordered it through this store.

But it looks like it is on sale $10 cheaper through this outfit.

Ate something bad?

Good luck recovering!

Congratulations Langcjl for over 6000 posts ......

Is he around here anymore? :_(

I got this piece of equipment:

I hope to include this in my system, but I will probably need a bit of programming first.

Yes, I do already have two electronic loads, but they have been busy the last two years and I want one that I can use when I want, without having to wait a week for it to be idle. This one is cheaper than the other loads I have, but hopefully just as good.

Ok, I admit it, I did not get it today, but yesterday

LOL, last seen 15 weeks ago... :-)

Akoray AK-12 from easylightbuy.com. http://www.easylightbuy.com/akoray-ak12-cree-q3-led-aluminum-flashlight_p202.html . Compact 18650 light. One mode, XP-E silvered reflector light. Fits in pocket. Nicely made. Slim as most AA lights and not much longer. The small led gives reasonable throw even with such a small reflector.

Received two packages today:

First, my first order from MiniInTheBox. I hadn't ordered from this seller before, and was skeptical. Order placed on December 4, and shipped the SAME DAY(!) with a USPS tracking label, but not sure of the originating carrier. Received today, December 23, 19 days in transit during the heavy Christmas shipping season. Not too shabby. Package contained:

  1. 2x iPhone-style notepads: http://www.miniinthebox.com/smart-phone-style-50-sheets-memo-note_p505363.html
  2. 1x Corn-shaped ballpoint pen: http://www.miniinthebox.com/corn-shaped-ball-point-pen-with-magnet_p291733.html
  3. 1x E12 (US candelabra base for ceiling fans) LED bulb: http://www.miniinthebox.com/e12-3w-6x5630smd-200-220lm-3000-3500k-warm-white-light-led-candle-bulb-110-240v_p641027.html

Second Parcel ordered from DX, order placed 11/27, shipped 12/3, received today as well. Order shipped via tracked China Post, 20-days in transit, 26-days total. Not bad here either. Package contained automotive bulbs for my scooter:

  1. 2x 1157 "7.5W, 500lm" Red LED brake/tail light bulbs: http://dx.com/p/266868
  2. 1 pair 1157 "3W, 220lm" Red LED brake/tail light bulbs: http://dx.com/p/71960
  3. 2x T10 "8W 720lm" light bulbs: http://dx.com/p/154838
  4. 1 pair T10 "2.4W 240lm" light bulbs: http://dx.com/p/183210

So far, I'm fairly impressed with both of the brake light sets and will be testing them later to verify which ones will be brightest for maximum visibility. Both sets seem to have a significant difference between the normal low driving light brightness and the higher brake light brightness. I'll be comparing these to the factory incandescent brake/tail light bulbs on the bike to verify which are the most visible and which has the most difference between low/high.

The front driving lights on the bike use the T10-style bulb, so I've replaced the factory-style bulbs with a pair of LED-bulbs, but have ordered the new ones to find the brightest possible option. I previously ordered http://dx.com/p/185254 but was not overly impressed as it wasn't extremely bright, and gives a small point-source of light from the front (Tiny dots of light visble from the front) and am hoping the multi-emitter style will be more attention-getting.

Now, waiting on two additional boxes parcels from DX, both of which contain Christmas gifts. Both were ordered in early November, and shipped via China Post last month, but returned and reshipped via Sweden Post as they contain ceramic kitchen knives. Both have passed through the NY center late last week. I hope they come in by tomorrow! Smile

Got the DQG 26650 the other day.

Great little light. Excellent finish and modes. SO small! Neutral tint is excellent. Its going to be my work light for a while since its so small and light.

Best thing? It ACTUALLY FITS THE KEEPPOWER 26650!!

Did you check out the 30 second hidden turbo mode? It’s damn impressive

-Jamie M.

oh yeah of course I did!

surprisingly doesn’t get that hot either.

Would be sweet to install a real thermal regulation chip and use that turbo mode to its full potential!!

-Jamie M.

If they didn’t cost so much I’d have one already. Crazy good looking, super compact 26650 light (With a side switch!).
