All this talk about chocolate is making me hungry. The Lindt chocolate factory is literally ten minutes from my house if anyone wants to put an order in I can go over to the outlet store and score some major deals.
I got this cute pink flashlight from Manafont for my girlfriend and some Lindt balls.
This flashlight was a joke I couldn't give it my girl like that so I popped in a Q5 I had kicking around direct drive off of 3AAAs it's pretty bright. Look at this weird emitter that was in there, it gave out a dim purple beam.

i'm a little surprised at all the excitement over the 501A and the criticism of the fake solarforce 16340 light which i think is a better light overall and much more lego-able.
I've seen this light come with various emitters...where the light it'self is basicly free for just the price of the drop -in
When i said i'd never seen that emitter I was joking .. I actually thought the light was sent with no emitter ..foy has never taken such bad pictures of a light ..I think he was throughly disgusted and just snapped a few and sent em .yes it's obviously an xre . i didn't even see it the first time i looked.
Foy is roght now that i think about it .. the tailcaps on 502 are paper thin and feel really cheap ..i do like the design of the 502 and the clip ..other than that they are very thin light cheap hosts just one notch above the 501B..both to be avoided unless someone gives it to you .
if you own flashlights eventually one will come your way .. you won't be impressed , don't go looking for these on purpose .with a q5 in them they are worth about $8. .. $5 for the drop-in and 3$ for the host ...10 is pushing it IMHO

Incredible but real; if you're into flashlights, eventually a 502 will simply happen. It will show up in one form or another and the best you can hope for is that when a 502 happens to you, it contains a drop-in worth the trouble to unscrew the head to get it out. If the emitter is not worthy the effort to retrieve it, you can try to loose your 502 but like a bad penny, it will come back.

That looks like an Ultrafire fake to me...but the 504 is the U/F body I like the best, if you need a P60 host and don't want to pay S/F prices

The 502b I have now is really good, one of my favorite hosts. Going to be pissed if this tmart one is a fake.
No faith in HID45'ian dremelism and design? I'll show you... In fact, I have got it to work in test-mode. Just have to find a path for that damned ground connection...
I am pretty sure you can do it, have you considered replacing the clicky switch with a copper penny and making it a twist on/off light.
Have considered, but rejected. It will have to have reprogrammed Nanjg 105, no other will do. And I don't know how to turn it into twisty, so I'll just stick with tail clicky.
I got my 5 mode Ultrafire C3 today for $5 bucks and change from Lazerpoint, thanks guys great score it's a cute little guy. Is it safe to run this thing on 14500, because it's not very bright with a Duraloop?
It should be fine - most all of them are. I have one clone of it - an Aurora SH-035 where the LED goes blue.
I think the only time my stainless steel C3 has not had a 14500 in it has been for testing purposes.
That said, keep a close eye on it for the first few minutes (It'll be too hot to hold on high after 3-4 minutes anyway) and at the first sign of its turning blue (If it does which it probably won't) turn it off and don't use a 14500 in it again. I've run cells flat in it on high continuously for runtime measurements and the head got to over 60oC.

2100 It has a green clicky modes go med,low,high,strobe,SOS and an OP reflector.
I will probably put the R5 emitter from my R5-A3 conversion in this light, I really like this thing it feels very solid.
I see. Manafont's SS C3 clicky is stainless steel. But then its quite a fair bit more expensive at $19.80. Then again Manafont processes really fast, if you are lucky it ships the same day. I am sometimes quite stressed by dealextreme/focalprice. If you are lucky it's a 2-3 days wait. Sometimes it takes 7 working days!

Ordered this 5/18 and got it today 6/2. I like it! It is marked Richong RC-L001 althought not advertized as such on ebay.
It looks like the one on Dino Direct except mine has a pocket clip and didn't come with a lanyard.
I ordered this before I developed the "Grand Plan"
-CR123 lights for emergency (bedside table, by the back door, glove box, wife's purse)
-AAA, AA eneloops for regularily used EDC lights.
So this CR123 will be my EDC until I get the 1 X AA of my dreams - Zebralight SC51 - or maybe a bunch of the budget 1 x AAs.
As long as you only spend seconds on high, this should be fine. But beware of heat!
My SS C3 with an XR-E Q5 (250 lumens) is only 40 lumens down from my R5-A3 (292 lumens) ,both with a 14500 at switch-on. Personally, I'd leave it unless it has an XP-E in it as they may do these days - I suspect Cree may not be making XR-E's any more.
My postman doesn't love me any more - I've had no mail at all for a week now- not even any junk mail to recycle.

The one on Dino takes an 18650. Interesting light. Is it a P60 host?

That’s a handsome little light, Joel. I like it. I especially like the color and texture of the finish on it. Should make a great torch but don’t expect 270 lumen out of it. LOL! At that price it might make a great host for modding. Be sure to take some pics when you get it and let us see what the pill situation is in it.
