What you got today

I really doubt it. I have an old XROM for my GBA SP and use it for NES emulation mostly. I have an original R4 for my NDS and it's great. I really want a card that is compatible with the 3DS but all of the mainstream sellers have dropped those. Manafont used to have a lot but not any longer.

i should get something for the ds or 3ds, but really want one for my GB Micro

http://www.mod-chip.com/nintendo-3ds-c-50.html

im not sure what ones are good or bad though... the cyclods is the one i wanted, dont look like it is 3ds compatible yet

I got 2 Manafont Ultrafire 3-mode drop-in’s today. They are not as bright as they use to be…… My old one pulls 3.9amps and the new one is 2.4amps What happen Manfont? These use to be the best drop-in… :frowning:

Got a 7 and 9 Amp drivers today from KD. 26mm.

Now I need hosts :stuck_out_tongue:

The Zelda games up to and including Ocarina of Time are great, with that one probably being the best of them all.
Best game ever? For me? Super Metroid is probably it. Metroid Prime and Prime 2 were excellent too.
Yeah, old school Nintendo fan here.

Yeah, I’ve got Super Metroid in my big box o’ SNES games…

I was too young for SNES, but I had an N64 and gameboy advance sp _
But all I ever play was ocarina of time and the various pokemon games.

In fact I restarted playing pokemon ruby on my phone using myboyfree. I may be young, but when I was like 10 I spent SO many hours playing this game so it does bring back memories.
I can’t believe I wanted to grow up… Wish I could go back.

i had actually got into those a little bit a while ago. i would like to get all of the GB ones, but just cartridge. they are a lot like zelda, but with different battles.

another one i found in the peak of my emulation days that i like was Survival Kids. if you emulate, look it up. its also known as Stranded Kids. it was pretty fun, and i think i may buy it here in the near future

edit: yes, growing up sucks. i remember the first night i borrowed Links Awakening from my friend... i spent ALL NIGHT playing it... could not figure out what to do but i still played it. the next day he told me i needed to sprinkle powder on the raccoon, i think it was less than two days after that i beat it

being a kid was so much fun

I’ll check out Survival Kids, I just looked it up and it looks alright.

I remember when I could stay up all night playing on my new gameboy advance sp because it had a screen back light. Actually ‘all night’ meant sleeping by 11pm. Dedicating a room to make little forts out of boxes, blankets and pillows was nice too. Sitting at the table and getting food served to me was also nice.

Well, I guess it’s time for me to go to work.

When work provides you with a laptop, it’s difficult to justify spending money on a computer that’s just going to decrease in value. Anyway, work is putting more spyware on their laptops, so I finally bought a Macbook Air! It is soooo light and fast.

I have a cycloDS laying with Nintendo DS in a box since 2 year.
The 2 Zelda on the nintendo DS are really awesome ! But vastly ignored & underrated, they makes clever use of the DS unique gameplay. Its like a direct 2.0 version of a link to the past.

A small parcel from FastTech, ordered July 26, delivered today, August 5, 10 day turnaround!

1x Carpo wireless mouse http://www.fasttech.com/product/1377201. I like a larger mouse, this one is nicely countoured and fits my hand okay, we'll see if I like it for the long-run. Selectable 800/1200 dpi. IR optical sensor; using a digital camera, I was able to see the light blinking...

1x Foldable arc mouse (Microsoft Arc Mouse knockoff, $7.95), http://www.fasttech.com/product/1050800. This one is already impressing me more than the more expensive Carpo mouse above. It's more stable than the actual Microsoft model, and even though it's compact, the raised shape fits my hand really well. Standard red LED sensor, and magnetic receiver spot underneath, just like the real deal...

1x Sparker/Fire Starter - http://www.fasttech.com/product/1026100. I'm dissappointed with this, it isn't a solid rod of the fire starting flint, but is a Magnesium(?) rod with a smaller sparker rod mounted along the length of the rod.

And finally, 3x (30 pieces!) of the Fruit/Perfume(?) bomb! http://www.fasttech.com/product/1252200

Directions state:

  1. Do not tear this package. (Yeah right! Okay now, let's see; a tiny bag of fluid and some white powder that actually smells pretty nice. I assume it's just sodium bicarbonate with some acid and water?)
  2. Find the object (Target? Victim?). Break the small water bag inside the package which will be full of air immediately. Drop the bag beside the object.
  3. When the bag pop the fragrance will full the air.
  4. Eating Prohibited

These are supposed to be stocking stuffers for my brother-in-laws this Christmas... I like to start shopping (and product testing) early... Wink

My TN30 3rd gen just came in. Initial ceiling bounce puts it at around 3600 lumens OTF at 5 minutes.
It is surprisingly small and has a very light OP reflector.

Currently testing lumen drop and heat over time. Even as the heat rises to 41C (104F) at the hottest part the lumen drop appears to be extremely small.

EDIT: And even at 49C (120F) the lumen drop is still extremely small! Holy crap!

I ordered fusion proglide razor blades from fasttech too and they were totally crap and fake….
It were these https://www.fasttech.com/products/1289101

I ordered the same set as rikr to try out and I'll update on these when they get here. I've been curious about the cheap razor blades and so many reviews are negative...

Got an ozone generator to get rid of some tobacco smell from my car.

Works, btw...

Got an Eagletac SX25L3 (with MT-G2) and it’s awesome! Shown here next to an older brother

Had to use a 5$ coupon, so ordered two cheap items.

NOW, the the good news! My Supfire M6 arrived in Norway today. Ima4Wheelers Supfire M6 (or the tracking number he got) arrived in Norway yesterday. I wonder which one is mine. Either way, they are off the plane!

My package from Shenzhen Great Wall Technology also arrived in the country. It got on a plane on the 17. last month. That is three weeks on a plane!?? Three weeks without one update on a registered package. Hopefully that is some comfort to a few who are waiting for the Supfire M6. Sometimes snailmail gets taken by the wind or something..

Lots of goodies in few days.. :)
