Awesome. I was too late to the party and missed out on the brass 3K. Those wall shots really drive home how fantastic the tints are on these CSP emitters. Nice work. Is the Buck 110 new?
FYI brass 3000k is still available for sale at 【Flash Price $21.75】Wurkkos BrassTS10 Powerful Mini 14500 EDC Flashlight with 3* 90 CRI LEDs and Single Color Aux ,Anduril 2.0
Recieved my (small) order from Nkon yesterday: 6 Samsung 48G (4800 mAh) 21700 batteries. They are certainly not high-drain batteries, but will function (permanently charged) as back-up batteries for emergencies, to be used as ‘powerbank batteries’ or to run in flashlights at lower modes.
With € 2,95 each, they where some of the highest ‘mAh per euro’ batteries Nkon offered (from a good reputable brand) at this time.
Also bought an Xtar PB2SL (the “upgraded version”), partially/mostly to be used as a powerbank in emergency/black-out situations in combination with (for example) these new 48G’s.
Nkon currently has a really good/sharp price for the (black) PB2SL (“version 2.0”) for € 16,95. With the included shipping costs (wihtin the Netherlands), that comes to around € 21,80 total. Ive looked at a lot of offers on AliExpress and Banggood, but they all came basicly down to between 26-27 euros, so Nkon was (at least) 4 euros cheaper!
(If I also (realisticly) devide the shipping costs also over the batteries, than the PB2SL was actually even cheaper!)
So once again pretty happy with the sharp prices from Nkon!
That’s a very good deal, not least for the fact that nkon should be significantly more trustworthy than Banggood or AliExpress!
Exactly!
My experience (and a lot of other members here on the forum) with Nkon is really positive and from all what I’ve read, Nkon always seems to offer original/good quality batteries. 9 out of 10 times they are even (substantially) cheaper than when I would buy the same batteries on AliExpress.
But it also applies on several brands of chargers, for example Xtar; he offers a big selection of them for prices often lower than via Aliexpress. No clue how he/they do that, but you don’t hear me complaining!
And he also recently(?) switched shipping companies (for the Netherlands), so shipping costs went from € 6,95 down to € 4,85/€ 4,95 (depending on which shipping company you choose.)
In what country is this possible?
In the UK. A lot of people with TVs don’t pay the TV Tax, but I also never had any problem not owning a TV, never got harassed.
France.
In NL people were quite on guard for possible TV tax inspectors, but I myself have never seen one.
Nowadays we don’t have to fear anymore because the public networks also have commercials, so no TV tax.
Just recieved my Wurkkos TS30S Pro, which I was able to buy second hand as a ‘new in box one’. (The person selling mentioned even in the description that he had several available; no clue how he/she obtained ‘several’ of them?!? )
So far it looks indeed that it is a brand new one; not a single scuff on it nor a single (finger) print on the lens and it also fully functions. It even came with the Wurkkos 21700 (5000mAh) battery, so that is a nice bonus, although I will mostly use it with a Molicell (P42A or P45B) or with a Samsung 40T (which is currently in it).
All in all I paid just under € 50,- (including shipping), which is roughly 40 euros below the price that Wurkkos is selling it for at their Aliexpress store at the moment. I know that I don’t have a warranty now, but for this price I was willing to take a gamble (seller seemed trustworthy), to buy my first SBT90.2 light (for under 50 euros).
Nice light, very powerful.
Thanks!
From reading/watching some reviews, I know that it doesn’t seem to get close to the stated lumen output from Wurkkos (with most reviews I’ve read testing it in the low 4000) and the beam profile not being the best, but for this price I’m perfectly fine with that!
I might (at least) do a spring bypass somewhere in the future, just for the fun of seeing if it will give a (marginal) improvement. Depending how thick the current wires (from the driver to the LED) are, I might swap those out for thicker ones, depending on how much work that would be.
I aware that I’m never going to get close to the 6000 lumen, but it’s just fun to see if I can atleast get a bit closer to the 5000 lumen mark.
21700 cells. Appear to be 5000 mAh cells. Manufacturer unknown but I found them as being sold by a company called Sriko.
Anyhow they were free. A neighbor had some wireless security cameras that quit working. The cells charge up fine though.
A pack of 3 parallel connected cells per camera. Three cameras, so 9 free cells.
Very nice!!!
Grats on your LM10!
What do you think of it?
