They’re an awesome light- I picked up a blue one a few months back off AliExpress. The light output isn’t as cold as I was expecting either.

A bit of a (very) slow reply, sorry, but yeah, it certainly is an awesome light! Certainly a lot of lumens out of the (mighty) SFH55 and a nice combination of a floody, but throwy beam. As you mentioned: the light isn’t super cold, so that is a bonus!
I would have preferred the blue one also, but I bought it from Banggood (more or less an impulse buy) and they only had black or green, so I went with the green one.

I got one of these. I like it. I have a bunch of razor knives. Some situations require a larger one. But for quick jobs, this one is what I will grab. THX for the post on it!

Today, I received four flashlights, and they are very compact and beautiful. However, I’ll be removing all the clips and replacing them with paracord. I’m really not a fan of their pocket clips.

Look at them side-by-side if you can. If you don’t notice much of difference, or don’t care, then consider yourself lucky.

Sometimes, or some people, need to see the light on a white wall to appreciate the difference. as I find without having a side by side comparison it can be difficult to see the difference. In the real world (not a white wall) it can be very difficult at times.

I did some testing on Red, Green and Blue items i own and the red does look nicer (and red is my favourite colour), but its academic, i can’t think of any situations where it would actually matter in real life.
To be honest i wish someone locally had the light and i could borrow it for a day just to see the difference, i would not have needed to buy it. I’m also a minimalist so its kinda annoying on that front.
That said, the FC11 is a good everyday beater light and having a spare is not a bad thing, i can also loan out the LH351D as a loaner light and not be heartbroken if it never comes back since i now have a spare (i tend to not loan out any of my good lights).
What we should do is start a flashlight loaner service, pay a deposit, get the lights, play with them and send them back (and refund deposit). However the shipping would add up too fast.
I did both, white wall, outside and on coloured items i own (red, green blue). It actually also makes grass look a bit better outside as well as being better on red.
As i said in my last reply this is a light i could borrow and play with for a day and not really miss afterwards. That said i will do some more testing on it. I am actually comparing it to my WK30 5K since my other FC11 is 4K.
I have also noticed the 519A gets hotter and keeps higher brightness longer, they must have updated the driver.
I really like the Stiletto flashlight series from Surefire. I’m still missing the Pro 2 version, but I actually prefer the regular version over the Pro. It’s more compact and lighter. I wish Surefire would update the regular version with a Type-C charging port instead of Micro USB and allow for a reversible pocket clip in the next update.
Red Convoy S2+ with, of course, deep red emitter. Although I really do not enjoy programming the Bistro UI with my fumble-fingers, I had it set to 1, 20, 100, and memory OFF, in just a few tries.
