Today I recieved my Niwalker ETmini M1 V2S, which I ordered a few weeks ago when in was on sale on Banggood.
I partially bought it for its quirky design and since I didn’t had a Niwalker light in my collection, but also (from what I could figure out) it had a decent UI and it was at a reasonable price at that time.
I’m not a great fan of the big difference in CCT between the spot (3000K) and flood (6500K), but it appears that the bezels can be removed quite “easily”, I’m planning to swap the LED’s out to a closer or matching CCT.
Lux-RC Minion R1 & McGizmo Mule mod Lux-RC 371 V2 with 3 tritium bars.
I received these two flashlights, but the Minion flashlight has been acting up—sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. After a few hours of working fine, it started having issues. I guess I’ll have to send it in for repair, which is a bit disappointing. Hopefully, they can fix it
Went to the local thrift store with Mrs. Manithree this afternoon. For the price I couldn’t resist probably the only Streamlight I’ll ever own:
Needs a new switch boot, the battery is low, and it didn’t include a charger. But, it works. I haven’t had an incandescent flashlight that I considered keeping for a long time. Now I just need to find a battery and charger for less than I could buy many of the nice newer flashlights I don’t need want.
I went to Costco and found a 6 pack of 5 CCT Feit electronic light-bulb. High CRI, offline, and no wifi/bluetooth or faffing about with IOT crap just a simple mechanical switch to toggle from 2700k to 6500k
It’s a fun light! I swapped a XHP70.3 HI in mine, made it a bit more throwy, better tint (no shift between spot and spill), but also introduced rings in the beam…
Apparently the reflector does not work well with domeless LEDs.
It’s also a bit brighter than a Convoy M21B with 6V 5A Boost, and gets hot faster. The power bank feature works very well. Great light overall.
Nice. I got one a couple of months ago. I like it. But it competes for pocket time with the two that I have in grey with Maxamet. Still haven’t used it enough to decide on how much I like the REX45 steel.
Have you used it at all?
What did you think?
Expensive but not bad if you compare to something like nano oil.
I have read great things about graphene for lubrication. But it seems to depend a bunch on concentration…and application of layers.
I appreciate the video, but I can do that with my Manix 2 without any lube.
The question is whether the Gunny glide, in your opinion, is it noticeably better than other lubes that you have used.
Have you done any comparisons?
