Certainly nothing fancy, but I find the Sofirn SC18 to be a good kickin around the house light. Not worried about scratching it up with anything in the pocket. Also doesn’t hurt knowing I paid less for it than I did for the case of beer in fridge!
Bobcat compact tracktor. Beats flashlight hobby any day.

I get the bad shivers whenever i see a blade resting on a pretty hard surface…![]()
All good! Manbug propped up no problem. I don’t get quite as much use with my knives these days since I no longer work in a warehouse. So even an accidental ding could be good for me, keep my sharpening skills up to par!

Got some of this stuff. It reduced the hotspot temp on my RTX 4080S from 107°C to 80.1°C. Put another way, the hotspot was previously 20-30°C higher than the average temp of the chip, and now it’s only 11.6°C higher. The fan speeds were also reduced.

Some emitters from Nightwatch!
Bunch of N5-250HE, N5-165HPE, N7-175HE, and lots of high current springs. Should’ve gotten the N7-170HP, but they mistakenly sent me more N7-175HE, which is a 9V LEDs and not 3V.
Will install it into M21B with 20A buck driver and T9R, since these 3V emitters seems to have such a low Vf and the N5-250HE seem to have smaller LES than the SFT-90.
And need to figure out on finding suitable 9V driver, the emitter supposedly can take up to 14A, but 8A would be nice, wonder if Simon 6V 8A driver can be modded to do 9V?
Here is the N5-250HE, XHP70.3, and N5-165HPE next to eachother
Nice pack…
Someone else asked about getting 9V out of a 6V driver and I gathered some posts about it here: LED test / review - 36-chip 9090 LED very similar to FFL909A (9 V, 4000 K 90 CRI rosy) - over 10000 Lumen with rosy Tint! - #14 by merlot
Where did you get those high current springs by the way? They look very handy.
