What you got today

I had the convoy screw on clip installed on the tool for a while, but they’re not the sturdiest. I bought a bunch of Dawn clips a while back. I put a dawn clip on the RRT01 2019 and put its clip on the tool.

I did have to file/dremel out the lanyard hole on the tailcap to be longer, but it works well. unfortunately the driver somehow went bad, I have to get a new one. it was a 14 or 15mm MTN-DDm bistro driver. I only wish I could install a forward clicky switch in the tool

When in Vegas…

Olight Javelot. Anybody know anything about this LED? It’s very green and I don’t want it in there. Thinking maybe an SFT-25R 5050 if it’s the right specs.

Pretty intense hot spot on it though, at least a bit of fun for the throw?

I don’t have a picture, but I got a Titanium backspacer (black coated, but I’ll be removing it until shiny raw ti) for my S30V wharncliffe Delica. I almost find them a necessity when disassembling the Delica, cause of the little plastic pins on the stock one.

I also got a bronze ano Ti manix 2 ball cage for my CruCarta to match my mxg clip. it works fine, but could use a little sanding.

In the mail I have a Jackson KR1AA, some Reylights with trits buttons, and another Armytek headlamp. all will be posted upon arrival

that looks to me like the YinDing flat glass round dies. the one I had was very very green

Love me a Delica wharnie!!

O.O I missed out, lol…the tailcap options are grayed out.

Please let us know which LED option you picked, and if possible a side by side photo with a d3aa or your converted Nova (close enough comparison)

yeah I wasn’t able to get a magnet tail. the first time I looked on Friday(?) everything was showing OOS. I would have liked to have gotten the raw aluminum one, but I’ll just get the Ti version when it inevitably releases. I’m okay with not having mechanical lockout for this one.

I knew I wanted it to be a warmer emitter. was debating whether to get SFT-70 3000k or NTG 2700k, but I ended up going with the 3500K FFL5009R, because I did order 4000K 6V and 5000K 3V of that emitter, but they haven’t shown up yet. I managed to place a Jackson order while my first Jackson order wasn’t even delivered yet (but at the time I placed the first one, KR1AA was sold out).

in both orders I ordered some parts, emitters, gaskets, reflectors, etc. I have a higher amount of half-modded non-working lights than working ones. maybe not half, but it’s close.

I will be sure to take pictures when it shows up. My D3AAs are Hank sw45k (D220?) and FFL351A (1x 1800K, 2x 5000k), with a Reylight dawn TIR and glow silicone piece in the Nichia one.

i got a SpyderEdge LeafJumper in the order with my S30V Delica Wharnie, kinda as an afterthought. however I have been carrying it since it came, except for one day.

big reason is that I don’t want to take the Delica with the stock clip, as it has bright cyan FRN and sticks out of my pocket too conspicuously to bring it to work.

but man that fully serrated blade has me wanting a K390 LeafJumper, or endela Wharnie, para 3 LW or something else. I actually love the full serrated blade MUCH more than I thought I would.

From what I remember, my TS11 was not glued, or there was such a little amount of glue that it didn’t matter. I swapped a 5000k DA bin SFT-40 into mine, but kinda want to put a warmer one.

what micarta scales are those? I love that blue!

I bought the on-sale flytanium ones for my burgundy PD#1 Delica. even though they felt great in hand, I had to take them off, because they made the action terrible. it was much stiffer, but also somehow more loose with side to side and vertical blade play.

Those are Terotuf scales. “kind” of like micarta but they are actually made of polyester resin and fabric materials. The scales new, are much lighter in color. Kind of like a pastel color. I wiped these down with a bit of mineral oil to give them a darker look. It eventually faded a bit since that photo. They are nice, but I definitely prefer actual micarta personally.

I just got these two gorgeous flashlights today! They’re MAC EDCs, one has a crenellated head, the other has a flat, and they run on 18350 batteries.

They’ve got a 3-LED setup, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be modding them with Lux-RC soon.
