I tried putting my Inova X1 on my keychain to see how it would fit in the pocket. It’s a tad on the long side… it’s a little less than 4 inches and 0.83 inches in diameter. It’s not bad. I might keep it on until it really get annoying. Otherwise, it would probably sit in my drawer forever.
I have a question. How does the hole for the split ring look after a year of use? I have a Mini AA and was planning to use it as a keychain light, but the part for the split ring looks ridiculously thin. And I have heard of it breaking off from another reviewer. Do you have an updated pic of it?
I have a Fenix E15 on the keychain it’s a CR123 light but so small.
Has Nichia 219 and just now started using it with IMR16340s which has given it new life!
Here compared to the old Fenix L0D (AAA):
Used to be a Fenix E01 but I gave that to my son. Now I carry an LEDLenser K1L.
I also carry a Nitecore MT2A in my EDC ManBag. :bigsmile:
I carry Fenix E05 but I’m waiting for Olight S10 to arrive. I will see if the size is small enough for key chain or in the pocket it goes.
I just have a streamlight Nano on my key ring. I prefer not to carry much with my keys. Being in auto work in the past I know it’s not good for your car mechanical key switches. The extra weight sometimes wear them out faster.
And besides, me be a fat arse, I can’t fit a pound of keys, lights, etc. in my jeans 
A red Match Box Instruments HF-R. It’s two inches long.
Still have a Lummi Wee on the ring to back up the HF-R.
The Wee is about an inch and a quarter in length.
I haven’t got a picture but I’ve had a Mini AA on my keychain for around 3 years now. The split ring attachment did look ridiculously thin when I got it and I had the same worries as you, but while it has worn down noticably at the edges it’s still holding out fine in general. I plan on keeping using it until it finally breaks then either requesting a new body under the 4sevens 10 year warranty or simply switching to a new keychain light (I have plenty of back-ups!).
I rarely use lights as keychain but when I do, I cannot go bigger than DQG AA.
Will be too big lump in a pocket otherwise...
