First I’d like to be independently wealthy, then own my own brewery. I started brewing my own beer at home a few years ago, and I grow my own hops. I enjoy the chemistry aspects of the job and there is no other way of producing beer tailored to your specific tastes. I’m not a heavy drinker at all, I just enjoy the craftsmanship and feeling of accomplishment that I get out of taking malted grains, hops, yeast , and water and transforming them into great beverages. Of course, it’s always a good thing to be the guy with a few kegs of his latest creation on tap, and test subjects are amazingly eager to help with “research”.
The only thing that doesn’t appeal to me is the marketing end of things. I don’t want to brew Budweiser so that everyone will like my beer. I want to brew the beers that I like and if they sell or not, well who cares? I could give it away for all I care. :party:

Being a non-profit doing money laundering. A software engineer tracking fishes for the state/fed.
