Hey everyone! It’s been a long time since I’ve browsed these forums but my light collection is beginning to grow again. I’m looking to replace my old KeepPower 2600mah 18650 batteries.
I have a variety of lights but mostly Fenix headlamps and Fenix 1500+ lumen lights. I also purchased the BLF Q8 light that I am really excited to try out.
I am looking for a quality/protected 18650 battery that has has a fairly flat discharge curve. The discharge curve on my Sanyo 2600mah celled batteries is what I prefer. I’m just curious if there are options out there with better performance or run time than what I currently have?
Good old Panasonic protected 3400mAh NCR18650B are my ‘safe and high capacity’ cells of choice when i gift a light. A tad large - may be a tight fit sometime. They go on sale for a good price quite often. https://www.gearbest.com/batteries/pp_189833.html
Keeppower protected 3120 (Sanyo VTC6) and 3000 (Samsung 30Q). More capacity than the old school Sanyo 2600 (which I still use), and much more powerful (high Amp) with the latest high efficiency protection circuit.
