Just to add the info here- I’ve found a pair of new local sources for copper foil tape (I had been buying it on eBay). I can find it locally at both high end music stores (NOT where you go to get your middle school kid’s trombone, very high end guitar shop’s) and also at fancy garden centers (sold as slug control tape, apparently they don’t go over the copper).
Both of these uses are also what it’s sold for on eBay but only one specific store around here actually carries it.
4wheelr- I don’t like to spray the oven cleaner all over so I use drano, it’s also easier to properly dispose of than the mess over cleaner makes, I believe they have the same active ingredient. Drano is nice cause you can pour in into a head / tailcap and let it sit while it works without getting any extra anywhere.
