Heavy, as Boaz said, and SS does not handle heat well so be prepared to not use the High setting for long if its well driven.

I don’t know if they’re still available, but, at one time, Solarforce had a stainless steel L2x.

The F35 looks nice with the dragon.. if there werent those glass-things around the head. So far, I like the S7 the best.

I know about heat issues, but SS is great for a beater light.

I really been eying up the blackshadow fire. But its price is driving me away. As well I haven’t seen one torn apart so I’m not sure how mod friendly it will be. Sounds like it has a funky UI from the factory.

Two working patterns:
High- strobe: Tightening the light head in clockwise direction to access to this pattern, using tail switch to change modes
High-Low-SOS: Rotating the light head approximately 60° in counter-clockwise direction to access to this pattern, using tail switch to change modes.

Both DX and Kaidomain have carried 18650 lights but you’ll have to check to find whats still available. A quick check of DX finds probably 6-8 small single 18650 SS lights.

Manafont used to sell these for $23 (and I thought they were a little pricey).

I bought two 503b SS from Manafont; I wanted to buy the third, but they were finished. They are good host P60. on one, I installed the crown SS of UF-C1.

Just got this today. It isn’t a host. Brighter than I expected, but not as nice looking at the ones above.

EDIT: This is a nice light. It actually has an XML and good mode memory and mode separation. Very nice smooth throwy beam. High end of neutral white. Gets hot fast for stainless steel. Haven’t checked current yet, but it puts out a lot of light.

Same(ish) light on Aurabuy for $12.62 to use as a host. Note: I don't know if it can be modded easily or not.
