Tonight watched “Radio Silence”, a tidy little mystery and thriller combo, which was really good. Apparently it was a teevee movie, and did have that sort of vibe to it, but it could’ve very easily been a feature film.
A radio shrink apparently chides a caller into “ending it” (umm, her bad relationship and go-nowhere existence, not her actual life!), and she does, pops herself right on the air. The doc/host calls it quits for a year, then gets coaxed into coming back to do the show. But then the supposedly-dead caller, “Alexis”, calls in and asks the doc “How can you sleep?”. So was it a hoax? If so, why? And who’s now stalking her?
Nice thing about it was that some of the clues were there, interspersed with some curveballs. Up until near the end, you keep on guessing as to whodunit and the motive why.
Again, it kept my interest throughout, didn’t want to take any breaks and didn’t keep checking the time, so that’s a really good sign.
Definitely recommended.
