Guys, don't forget to be extra super careful with the paste solder. In liquid form it's a lot easier to find sneaky ways to get inside your body and do very not-nice things to you. I don't know for sure if it can be absorbed through the skin, but don't take any chances with it. This is one of those things where when it says on the label 'WASH HANDS AFTER USE', it's not cool to ignore it.
Definitely wash your hands after using solder-paste. It is 37% lead, after all. Don’t stress over it though - those of us in the industry are in contact with solder paste ALL THE TIME, and it isn’t a big problem.
After handling solder paste though, wash your hands with Cool Water (NOT WARM/HOT). Warm/Hot water opens the pores in your skin and makes it easier for the tiny balls of lead to infiltrate.
Seriously though - Nothing to stress out about.

I've known folks who also said it's no big deal, 'don't worry, I'm careful with it' - and then got a nasty shock after a blood test.
Agreed. I have to. I wasn’t suggesting you should eat the stuff or butter your bread with it - but normal precautions like hand washing with cool water are enough to mitigate the risks.

That isn’t solder paste. It’s Soldering Paste. There is a difference.
Solder Paste has Solder
Soldering Paste is Paste Flux.
I’d hope not, that stuff costs waaaay more than margarine! I’d have to eat bare rice crackers instead (bletch).
I bought some loctite 60/40 stuff from Digikey, which works a treat in my limited experience. However, be aware that Digikey ships it with a cold pack using 2 day or overnight UPS, which will bump up the cost considerably (I was lucky and they upgraded the shipping for free).

I read this instructable and it seems like it could work. Grind up solder and mix with flux. Thats the ways pilot explained it in his video.
