Why won't my eneloop charger charge other nimh batteries

They were not eneloops. They were Sanyo, but not eneloops. I bought them many years ago when I was into amateur radio.

My apologies jerm03. I was reffering to Hellie112’s eneloop complaints. My apologies.

I also have that non LSD Sanyo jerm. :-). It’s a 2500mah SuperLattice.

No apology necessary. Although the Sanyo’s were rated at a high capacity I never found them that good. I used them maybe close to 10 years, and they finally “gave up the ghost.”
Thanks for the comment.

John 6:35 I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

I think my charger is decent enough. ( Review of Charger Powerex MH-C9000 )
Fraud was a wrong term to use. My apologies for that. But the claim of 1,800 charge cycles is not true in my case.
I barley used them the past 2 years and the batteries died from laying around.

Maybe it was wrong to top them of every 6 months?

I can’t think of any other explanation (if the batteries are indeed legitimate), than some case of bad batch (?) perhaps. Or something wrong might have gone internally from the charger’s perspective (it’s possible though unlikely) which destroyed the Eneloops’ LSD capabilities. Even the best products (chargers) could have a manufacturing defect or something, not directly observable by the user.

That’s just wild guess.

I have some eneloops that are 5+ yrs old and still good. did you try refreshing them? I have a lacrosse bc700 and never had problems with eneloops. now I have had to “jump start” cheaper lower capacity rayovacs before putting them in the charger but I try to avoid a complete discharge

I was talking about the Panasonic Eneloop pro (the black ones) BK-3HCCE rated 2450mAh. But still from no use getting destroyed? I am driving them max at 900mAh.
