Don’t think you can lego very many P60 hosts. Solarforce L2? with Solarforce L2?, yes that will work. Solarforce L2 vs Ultrafire 504b, that won’t work. Very few p60 hosts from different manufacturers will interchange.

Actually the ones you mentioned are interchangeable… I have a crapload of them so I know. The Solarforce heads, bodies and tailcaps are based on Surefire’s C format and so will interchange with Surefire 6P and C2 to name a couple. The Ultrafire 504B flashlights I have will swap with Solarforce no problem as well as Ultrafire C1. There are so many out there that are interchangeable. So again, too bad this L2X copy isn’t…

Maybe they do interchange but would look real “funky”. I also have a lot of P60 hosts and the only one’s I have that would look good are Solarforce with Solarforce. Anything else would look very badly mismatched, anodizing/style/shape/color/etc…
Edit: for some reason your picture didn’t show up in your last post, maybe you added it later. Solarforce with Solarforce looks great, mixing brands is another story. Got any pictures mixing brands?

In the past couple years I’ve seen several people ask on BLF where to buy one of these beauties. I myself tried searching for a NOS with no success.
You would think with all this attention and interest Solarforce would do a run of these.
Sold two L2X off Craigslist for EUR70 last September to a Brit living in France. His buddy contacted me a few weeks later and offered me same price for the one I have left. I said no.

You would think that SolarForce would make a new run of the L2X. OTOH the new D18x2 makes a wonderful 2x18650 host.

Last year I thought about creating a interest list on BLF in order to get Solarforce to make another run. I wonder how many people would actually buy one.
Good luck dealing with SF. I tried to make a $2000+ purchase and the price they quoted me was higher per unit than I could buy one for.
Just got 2 of these from FT. Nice machining, threads, and anodizing. Looks just like a real L2X, would be hard to tell them apart side by side. Tail caps exchange with Solarforce, heads don’t. Bezel is not removable, lens seems to be glued into the head.
