I’ve been on the lookout for a better fitting holster for the EC01 than what BG offers, and the Emisar is one of the closest analogues I can think of.
I suspected that might be the case, but wanted to make sure.
For the ec01 I may try the convoy c8 holster. I never owned both the holster and the light at the same time. But I use the convoy c8 holster for so many different lights- from the mf01 mini, the ea01, my c8’s, m21a, and even my d4s fits, that one is just a little short. The length of the ec01 would probably make it a good fit
I have one of the Convoy C8 holsters, and it’s much too large for the EC01.
Most of the holsters on the market are made for more normally proportioned lights. The market hasn’t caught up to the large head/short body pocket rocket shapes that have become so popular more recently, so it’s hard to find something that isn’t compromised in some way.
But I do have a couple in mind, and just haven’t gotten around to pulling the trigger. The BG holster is ok, so it hasn’t been an urgent need.
