You are correct of course, that’s the way Anduril does it.
But if it was just Anduril, we could always change it (it’s opensource after all) – the reason Anduril does it that way AFAIK is a hardware limitation: IIRC, it’s because only one GPIO pin in the AVR MCUs supports ‘hardware-generated’ PWM and this pin is therefore used for the main LEDs; PWM with other pins would need to be generated by the firmware and would therefore impede the MCU from sleeping, as it would have to be ‘awake’ all the time to pulse that pin and therefore consume much more power. So Anduril uses another GPIO pin to select one of two resistors appropriate to the brightness level (either low or high) and that’s why we only have two brightness levels for the AUX LEDs.
Caveat emptor: all this is from memory, so I may well be wrong. If that’s the case, TIA to anyone setting me straight on this.

The factory magnet is very weak.
i added a magnet under the spring, no thicker than 2mm, diameter up to 10mm, and now it holds normally with headmount

- HD10 MCPCB updated come with flashing pads now. Also, we destroyed the original version MCPCB total 1164pcs. The first batch will available on Wurkkos website and Aliexpress soon. We will not increase the price even $0.1 of HD10 as a result( the second batch will return to regular price). Also, We will provide the extra 15% discount to all original version buyers to thanks for all continued trust and sincere advices in Wurkkos. All the losses will be borne by Wurkkos factory.
- HD01 all the battery updated come with wrapped cushion. The rattle issue be solved now. Wurkkos lab told me it testing for three months and have confirmed that it works great.
- TS12 options updated come with the world latest LED Luminous SFT25. Output from 1050 up to 1350 lumens, throw from 432 up to 473 meters.
- HD15 upgrade plan. These days, some folks advice me “Hey Terry, we need Wurkkos regulated headlamp HD15C, make it happen.” “I’d love to do that!” So we hope to ask help on community with more opinions. Which shortcomings should we correct beside driver? And how about its old brother HD20

I agree with that. The magnet is weaker than my H150 and it barely stick on the side of the fridge. A slight hit will drop the light.

Thank you Terry, this IMO is a great way to resolve the problem and again demonstrates why Wurkkos keeps being my preferred flashlight company, and you my preferred CS person!
For various reasons I have very few flashlights; but Wurkkos is the only brand I have more than one flashlight from, and I see no reason to change that.

The 3000K we can do, but without screwed retainer ring. It’s too hard for stable machining on original design. We test several time the success only half

For the dual fuel driver I would give up anduril , If is possible to have constant current no pwm and ramp starting from firefly mode
