Wurkkos tactical flashlight TD07- come with “Johnny Clip” Launch

Yay a giveaway. I like the momentary turbo and strobe for this compact light. Great addition to my edc.

1 Thank

I would love to see Wurkkos make a light inspired by the LOOP GEAR SK05. Dual 18650s for monster runtime.

I love GAWs! The TD07 looks very useful.

I’d like to see Wurkkos bring back an updated WK01/WK02 penlight maybe with a driver like the WK05 that can take almost any battery. A simple UI (Moonlight, Low, Medium, High) and always starting on moonlight. sst20 deep red would be a good option in addition to a high CRI version.

2 Thanks

Hey Wurkkos, just heard about the new FC12C with buck driver! That’s the way to go man! We need more and more regulated drivers for our flashlights. Power is nothing if it doesn’t last. Thank you for the GAW

1 Thank

Absolutely!
Wurkkos TD07 will be good for throw

1 Thank

Got it! That’s we wanna do. Wurkkos TS11 has not been updated for 3 years.

Agree, it should be included in the testing display after Wurkkos brand gain sufficient trust from everyone.

1 Thank

That’s our mission my man. We are constantly working and make it happen.

Absolutely! The box will include both tactical ring and two way clips

2 Thanks

I’m sure it could compatible the single 1-way clip. The other points we still need to improve.

1 Thank

YEESSSS!! We have been working on it almost 1 year. Currently we have implemented smoothly changing brightness with spin button, I believe the rotary ring can also do.

3 Thanks

Yep, the stainless steel bezel is. Also, carbide inserts in bezel will work better, but hard aim it to right location.

2 Thanks

Cool idea! I guess the almost any battery options is sizes below AAA

Seconded.

btw, Terry, have you guys considered making a “gas pedal” switch flashlight, here’s a thread that discussed them.
Considering that there is nothing new on the flashlight market at the moment, would you company try it? Since you company are really only one step away from a “gas pedal”, just change the “tactical mode” to 20lm at half press and 1000lm or more at full press.

One I ordered from Amazon arrived. According to the chart in the manual, the max throw is 57,250 lux (479m). It is noticeably throwier than my Nitecore MT1C Pro which is rated around 40k lux.

Interface is pretty much as follows:

  • Rotary switch in left position (tactical):
    • half press hold - turbo
    • full press hold - strobe
  • Rotary switch in middle position (lock)
    • half press hold - moonlight
  • Rotary switch in right position (edc):
    • half press from off - turn on in memorized mode
    • half press from on - cycle up memorized mode
    • double half press - turbo
    • long half press from off - moonlight
    • full press at any time - off

Overall the interface isn’t bad, but it isn’t perfect. Having to manage half and full press in EDC mode works slightly worse than a standard 1-button interface without the 2-stage switch like on the Wurkkos HD01, Olight or any Anduril light. On the upside, I like the rotary lock and tactical modes.

The weird looking clip greatly increases grip in tactical use but is useless for clipping to a pocket since it sticks out so much. I much prefer a low-profile clip. Fortunately, I found a random one in my clip box that fit well enough.

The light has built-in USB-C charging.

It seems interesting, very compact and with a good LED for throw. Count me in for the giveaway.

I’d prefer better average sustained output levels over headline grabbing massive outputs -that quickly throttle back.

Thanks for doing another GAW.

Thank you for the GAW.

For future products, maybe you can consider releasing product with more efficient driver like Lume1 driver, I know it can make the production cost higher but some of us will still see it as a good development thus make your flashlight more reliable.

And maybe some more precious metal light (Ti, Cu, Br) like TS10 series…

Thanks for another interesting giveaway. My suggestions haven’t changed much . I’m an advocate for better , more interesting colors . More rich deeper colors ,less 3rd grade schoolgirl shiny cheap looking ones . More matte finishes , less silly unnecessary hot logos or snowflakes .

This tactical light looks to have a great UI, very similar to the TS21 headtorch. Rotary dial for gloved hands and remembered mode settings.

Future stuff, the TS10 is super affordable in aluminium , so warm emitter option in the alu body for ambient candle light mode with the Anduril 2
