Hey Guys,

i have a question according these batteries:

Does anyone have experience with these cells?! Would like to buy some but cannot find a review or test anywhere.

Thanks and regards,
Tom

Most likely a Samsung FM 2,600mAh cell inside. I wouldnt pay for a 2,600mAh battery now that we can even find them inside laptop packs Almost for free, and for flashlight this battery is not a good performer by any means.

Do you really need the protection? There is a deal on samsung 30Q going on for ~$5 a piece.

For that price you can buy NCR18650b's:

I think it’s not a Samsung cell inside as the wrap says: Cell made in Japan.

I really don’t understand why you even want to take the chance?

This cell offers nothing that Name Brand cells don’t at a similar price …

Rule #1 when purchasing batteries from an untrusted seller (like gearbest): ignore what the label says.
Rule #1 when purchasing protected batteries: it’s the cell inside what matters, not the fancy name they put in the wrap.

It could be a japan made sanyo 2,600mah, but it is still 2,600mah only and a under performing cell for today’s standards….

For the same price you can buy a Samsung 30Q which is one of the best 18650 in the market. 30Q button top - new deal for Q8

What makes you think the 26Fm is not a good performer?

Cracking cell for the money.

Looking at HKJ charts it does seem like a good performer… But I have 4 of them and just feel they are sub-par compared to some Panasonic BD.

Well if the OP really wants those then these are probably the same just without the brand sticker:

Cheap protected cells are hard to find. NCRB’s are Peru bad when protected

They will be only average if you push them hard but in you average everyday light up to 3A they are good and give at least 2600 which can be rare, most cells exaggerate.

Thank you all for sharing your opinions. I think it really is not that easy finding good protected cells. As far as I know the cheap protected Panasonics are often not nearly as good as the bare cell. So I just wanted to know if anyone tried these X-power cells. If there is a Sanyo cell inside and the protection doesn’t trip to fast I think it is not a bad deal. The 2600 cells often have higher voltage level at bigger currents than cells with more capacity. So it will depend on the protection if they are good or not.

Best regards,
Tom

I’m also looking on some X-power batteries, is they worth the price? I’m looking t 18350 bateries.
