But for other’s, the K40M is a fantastic light for the price. If you can do better, GREAT!
Has there been any testing on whether you need 20A-rated cells or if 10A cells like NCR18650BD are good enough?
Vinh modded X60M came in at only ~8000 lumens. That's with touch ups to battery carrier to lower resistance, putting an extra piece of copper in there, and driver mod.
This means the stock light will be lucky to crank out 7000 lumens, and probably closer to 6000. Way below the advertised 10,000 spec.
Don't get me wrong, that's still a lot of light, but given the difference in price vs the measured, known, X60 xml2 at 5000 lumens, with superior throw, the X60M seems to be a dud.
