Xiaomi powerbank16000 dissassembled

Not a bad idea, I have got more fake products from a well known seller, will wait to release the info to they have responded.
But it’s seems like fake products are more normal then not fake products.

I See no Sense in Buying fake Xiaomi power banks! The are very good for the price. Five quality batteries, quality circuit, quality housing and quality usb cable for 25$…you can’t beat that.
So if someone sells them for the half price, everyone should know it are fakes.
Banggood sells the original ones, my defective was refunded fast so I would say for now they seem to be one of the best suppliers for them.

The smaller power banks can be purchased from Xiaomi direct so this might the best option for these.

Gearbest.com also sell real Xiaomi 16000mAh power banks (I have one, and the code checked out) (but you never know when they start to sell fake ones)

+1 for GB, got my 10000mAh Xiaomi from them.

So it appears that BG and GB sell original ones and have them on sale on regular basis!

Weird:

From looking through all of the posts in this thread, I am the only one from the USA.

I am still waiting to get prices from Banggood through PM’s. It has been days. I guess I should just go and buy direct through Xiaomi?

Visiting a product page would save you a lot of time>

Ordered my 10000 from Banggood on July 31 using the product page shown above. It shipped last week. And yes, I’m in the USA.

Going to use it in place of my 16000, which is going to get peeled.

After using it for two weeks for its intended use( without discharge tests and so on) I have to say the 16000mAh are a lot for me.

I have a fairly old phone(single core CPUs) with a 1200mA battery which I can charge for weeks with this powerbank. It charges fast and without problems after it is fully charged the power bank switches itself off so there is no standby loss while I am sleeping till the next morning or so.
I also like to use a small USB Fan when it’s hot outside which pulls 0.5A on high so I have plenty of capacity for this toy too.

The only thing I am breaking my mind is what should I do with the housing of the broken one, it’s very neat aluminium and the bottom and top can be screwed in easyly. I probably throw it in the metal scrap box and hope it will get some use as something someday…

I need to get one of the 10k or 16k from banggood soon. Great thread and info about the powerbank Werner.
